One of the things I learned was that the pilgrims traveled to Ohio. They traveled in covered wagons. The sick rode and the healthy walked. This is one fact I know about the history of the United States of America. History is very hard to learn but it is very fun when you get the hang of it.

This week I learned that the pioneers were given free land if they settled out west so they packed their things and went out west to claim the land. One place a lot of people went was Oregon. The children sometimes had to leave all their belongings besause they traveled in wagons and there wasn't a lot or room.

First I learned about some history is different. If history was all the same it would be boring. When I have learned so far is pioneers life. They had to travel two thousand miles.just to get free land

I've learned from this week that the pioneers went from Missouri to Oregon in a rough journey.I have also learned about the Mississppi steamboats and how they carry goods. This makes history unique because we could see how the U.S.A came to be.It helps us gain more knowledge in how now we have technology and back the we didn't.I also makes us proud to be a american.

I learned that the pioneers traveled from Missouri to Ohio. The sick people rode in a covered wagon. The more younger and healthier people walked. They were in the covered wagon when they slept.

I was wrong. It was not Ohio. Pioneers actually traveled from Missouri to Oregon using the Oregon Trail. It took about 4 to 6 weeks to travel this distance. The ends of one type of wagon were higher than the middle with a cover making it a covered wagon. The covered wagon was used to carry sick & tired or injured people. Animals such as horses and cows were used to pull the wagon. Traveling along the Oregon Trail was hard and dangerous for the Pioneers.

Pilgrims an d Pioneers traveled in wagons pulled by horses. they traveled 2000 miles on the Organ Trail which is a bumpy road. they brought all there animals. Plus kids had to leave behind mot of their toys and cloths. I think it would be hard to live that way and I feel bad for the kids who had to walk.

What I have learned this week in class is the Pioneers and the Pilgrims traveled in wagons or covered wagons pulled by horses. The healthy adults or kids would walk and the sick or ill would sit in the wagons. They traveled two thousand miles from the state of Missouri to Oregon. History helps us compare the old days to the present.

I learned that in history there are alot of cool things that teach us. One thing is that pioneers walked to Oregon on feet in the past. I also learned that in the past people used Mississippi steamboats to move things to another place.
