Well , first the prism is made of a glass which is made into a strange looking shape. Then when the prism is on rainbow paper and when a light is shined into the prism and its moved around.... IT LOOKS CRAZY! Or if you shine it on the wall it makes a... RAINBOW ! That's how it works.

The way that a prism works is that the light goes through it and when it goes through it, it bends.It separates you can see it the colors of the light. you can see it happen better when the lights go out.

The light goes through the sides of the prism. When the light goes through the prism's sides it bends. The light will go through the prism and on to the colored paper. That is how light refracts.

The way a prism works is light goes through it. When it goes through it creates a rainbow. Fact wight light is made of all colors. Prisms are cool!

You shine light at the prism while on rainbow paper or it will not work. Next you face the prism vertical and you can see the bent light. If you want to do it on the wall you will see a the other colors.

If you hold a prism into the sunlight on one side rainbow colors will come out on the other side. The sun's light is a white light. That means that if you put a prism in the white light on one side (sunlight) rainbow colors will come out on the other side. The white light goes into the prism and transforms into all the colors of the rainbow.

When light enters a prisem on a rainbow paper like we used in our sience experment. The light will bend because the flash light produces white light and white reflects all colors . Also light travles in striaght lines , when it bounces of of an object such as a prisem it bends the light .That is Refraction.However reflection is when light hits a moirr not any light our eye light then the image goes stairght to our brain and we see the image.

the light changes speed as it moves from the air into the prism. That's what causes the light to be refracted. Like a rainbow paper shining the flash light with the prism laying on it.

A prism needs rainbow paper to work,rainbow paper is what you need to do it.The rainbow paper is for all the majestic,beautiful,pretty shapes to do many things,like making a triangle, making the shapes twist and turn plus trying it on the wall,will make a rainbow on the sealing.The flashlight helps you see all the shapes twisting and turning all around the prism.The shape of the prism determines the way the shapes twist and turn around the prism.

When light hits glass it breaks up into colors of the rainbow.Its like a laser blasting through a wall.Or think of holes in glass and brakes one through each hole.some glasses just are blocked by certan glass

When you have a prism and a light you shine the light through the prism and it bends and comes out through another angle. When it bends the white light splits into 7 colors.

When the light hits a prism, it bounces off of it and makes a rainbow. The prisms are so cool because they reflect light. For example you put a mirror in front and behind you, you see your reflection in the back.
