First off, I would like to say Pioneer Day was fun. But back then I don’t thing it was very fun because it seems like you couldn’t make ANY mistakes, it must of been really hard back in the days. If a kid made a mistake or even giggled they would get hit with a ruler in their palm, ouch! Back then they expected perfection no mistakes, now in these days they don’t expect us kids to be perfect but they do expect is to get all of our work done. School is fun in my opinion but sometimes I get behind on work, get frustrated and need a little break. So yeah! Pioneer day was fun I honestly loved all of it except on the spelling b on my first try I kept getting out.

Life in the olden days for kids was hard. If they didn’t do a right thing or did something wrong they got slapped on the palm or put there nose in a circle. They also had to do farm work and so many chores. They had to ride pony’s to school because they had no cars. They also went hunting for food like alligator, deer, rabbit. If kids got sick there wouldn’t be much medicine for them. In school boys and girls were separated and one of the other punishments were that they would have to sit by each other. They learned how to write cursive and they used mini chalk boards to write and do math on. That was there life back then

The pioneer people would go to school. The school would teech them easy math, the math would not be that hard because that was a long time ago. The children after school would pick the crops and get the food for the family and what they picked would be what they ate for dinner.

In the great pioneer times, kids had a pretty rough school. They got slapped by a ruler if they even laughed. In math, or arithmetic, students used a small chalkboard to write on. In language arts, they had to practice cursive and perfect handwriting every day. For punishments, of course there was the ruler, and the teacher would draw a circle to put a misbehaving child’s nose in for a long time. Then there was a dunce cap. This was the “prime punishment”. If a student did something utterly absurd, they had to wear the dunce hat. And also, ladies always went first. In line, to get lunch, and more. Lastly, students of different genders had to be separated in class. At home, they did many chores and cared for animals. Young boys had to chop wood and help their father hunt.

Back then it was hard to be a kid ( in my opinion) because in school you couldn't make a single mistake or you got punished by getting smacked on the palm with a ruler or if your a boy you had to sit with the girls. Also, women always had to go first and they had to spend an hour singing in the morning songs, a spelling B in the after noon (I think ), an you usually stop school In 5th grade, you had to take your hat off when you entered the building ( I was fine with that ), also you usually learn your first name an the letters of it in cursive, there lunches where good, an school was 11 hours a day. That's what I learned at school during pioneer day.

Back then life for children wasn’t easy, they didn’t have electronics or cars or even pencils. As a child you would either stay at home and do chores or go to school. At school the boys and the girls were separated. Instead of a pencil and paper they used chalk and a slate. They were expected to do everything right and not make any mistakes. If you had a question you would raise your hand but not above your head, and when you were called on you would stand up and speak in proper English. If you laughed or didn’t pay attention you would be punished. Punishments included having to put your nose to the chalkboard so it was inside a small circle, getting slapped on the palm with a ruler, or even having to sit next to a girl. If you stayed home you would work with your parents on chores around the house like farming. Before you could play with other children you would have to complete all your things to do around the house. Children didn’t have any easy time but they pushed through and dealt with it all.

I’m going to talk about how it was back when the Pioneers lived. Back then children had certain things to do proper posture, no turning their head, or they get wack in the hand by a ruler or they just grab a branch and then get wack. They had to write on a chalk board and they had to erase with a handkerchief. They also had to write in cursive we have to write in cursive to sign papers.

Life for a pioneer kid was really hard. Instead of doing school and stuff like that I had to work really hard and if they did go to school they don’t have any iPads and stuff to help them. As if I need to do will have to work really hard because some of their chores were to pick up cow poop and help fix the house. They also probably had to sleep in beds made of hay. Their punishments were really harsh if they didn’t do something correctly or was being really funny they got whacked with stuff and that they put their noses in circles. And it was also really hard to get money. It would be extremely Sherlock if you found a dollar bill on the road. They were also really strict if you had to raise your hand it would be not above your hands and women always go first. You also had to sit up straight. There’s some things about a pioneer Child life.

To start off Pioneer Day was fun for me but if it was real in the 1800s it wouldn’t I’ll be explaining why. Life for the kids in pioneer school was discipline. If someone did something wrong they would either hit them with a ruler on the hand or make a circle on the board and make them out there nose in it in front of the whole class. They also had to memorize songs and poems to sing to the teacher. Girls and boys had there own seats never sat by each other. They weren’t allowed to smile, giggle, or laugh, they had to be gentle and polite. In the morning they sang lots of songs, and in the afternoon they did spelling bees. They’re lunches were cool like ham and cheese sandwiches, water or milk, berries, cookies, and corn muffins. They also usually stopped school around 5th grade! I had so much fun in Pioneer Day! May not have been fun in 1800s but in 2021 Pioneer Day is fun!

The pioneer children that went to school had to follow very strict rules. They weren’t even aloud to turn their heads! It was disrespectful for children to wear hats on their heads in the building. Also, if they had to use the restroom, they would have to go to a hole outside of the building, and do their business in that. They also had to treat the teachers with a whole lot of respect. Or else they would have to put their nose on a hole (not the outhouse) and stand their for 20 minutes. Another punishment for boys if they did something wrong, they would have to sit by girls. So, I hope this makes you think twice before you girls complain about the toilet seat being up.

Back in the days it was hard for pioneer kids. But pioneer day was fun. They didn’t have iPads they had chalkboards that they use for math. And the girls in the boys were on separate sides of the room. I forgot to mention that the girls were ladies and the boys were considered gentlemen. For punishment they either had to put Their nose in a circle and stay on there or where a duns cap, Or a note that they had to write hundred times on the board. Their lunches were different tune no ice packs, they did not have anything to warm up anything else. And the clothes are so different than today’s. Back in the days stuff are so different than today we are truly lucky.

Life for a pioneer kid was just like your life...but depressing. You LITERALLY get SLAPPED IN THE WRIST when you do something like mumble under your breath or something. You would have to use chalkboards for school instead of paper and of course NO PENILS. “That life is one insane life if I ever heard one.” You might be saying, and yea, it would have been miserable. But then again you get to bring your anger out on your kids when you grow up. 👍

It was a long time ago it was hard to harvest crops and to make a house 🏠 but in are days now we have all kinds of cool 😎 stuff examples are a phone 📱 or a iPad to play games on a x box to. But back in time they didn’t have all that they would have to go to school and fallow vary hard rules like if they were bad the teachers 👩🏫 would open there pam and smack it with a ruller or the teacher 👩🏫 would draw a circle ⭕️ and the student would have to put there nose in it. Some kids if they got a question rong they would stay after class and right it fifty times on the bored 😐 in class when they leave girls are in the front and they marching down the hallway the baddest kids wore the hat of shame and that was the worst punishment ever. Some little pioneer girls the mother would make them a doll to stay happy 😊. That is all I hope 🤞 you liked it so much by 🙋♀️

Life a a pioneer kid was hard. School 🏫 was very strict. Arithmetic ➕➖➗✖️ would use a chalkboard and some chalk to do your math problems. The teacher will read the problem out allowed and you would have to figure it out. If you got it wrong you would have to stay after class and write your math problem. If you were miss behaving or misbehaving you Would have to do a punishment or if you were being really bad you would have to stick your nose in a circle on the board. That was like the worst punishments you could ever get. Next boys were announced as gentlemen and girls were ladies. Boys and girls sit on different sides of a room. In ELA you would learn Penmanship which is basically a fancy word for cursive. Now I’m going to talk about recess. During recess and pioneer days they would play pioneer games like cat and mouse. Cat 🐈 and mouse 🐭 is a game where you have a little cloth thing and you walk around a circle ⚫️ then you drop the cloth behind the person then you start running. Then the person won’t run after you. If they catch you you go in the most part but if they don’t you have to go to their spot. Then they will become the cat. You were not allowed to be out of line when you go somewhere. You are not allowed to look outside. And for a bathroom it was called the outhouse🏡 and it was a hole in the ground where are you do your business💩.Now you see how hard life was when you were living in the pioneer days.

Today I'm going to tell you about how pioneer children lived. If your parents had enough money to put you in school they gave you harsh punishments like sticking your nose in a circle for 20 minutes. You had to learn cursive and write math problems on slates. if your parents didn't have enough money to put you in school you had to work at home every day. That is what learned on pioneer day.

I’m going to be telling you how it was life for a pioneer. Girls are ladies and boys are gentlemen. When pioneers walk they have too march and they have to sit up straight. If you would get a question wrong you would have to stick your nose in a circle on the board. When you raise your hand you can’t put your hand over your head you have raise your hand it right by your head. They didn’t even have pencils, electronics, and electricity. Girls and boys had to sit from apart of each other. Girls and boys and girls couldn’t wear hats in the classroom unless the girls had bonnets on their heads. There was a place that was outside called the out house. The outside house is where there is a hole in the ground and then you go to the bathroom. Being a pioneer is tough.

Anna dress up like a pioneer..And do everything right and no mistakes or you’ll regret it . Our seats were separated boy sits on one side and girls sit on The other side. And raise your hand but not over your head.

Well , to start off back then pioneer children had to go to school and if they didn’t they would working with their pioneer family. Pioneer children had to follow rules for example, pioneer boys had to stand in the back of the line and ladies had to stand in the front. Another thing about the pioneer children is that the ladies and men had to be separated in school. They also did arithmetic which is math. They also used chalkboard and chalk to write. Their punishment would be a spanking or putting their nose in a circle.

This is what I learned about the Pioneer Day 🧕🏽. To start off with Pioneers had a really hard life as pioneers they had to go threw some hard times like they had to grow there own food build a farm.School was also very tough gentleman and ladies where all separated gentlemen men had to stand and ladies had to sit. If they broke one of the rules they’d get hit with a paddle and get slapped with a ruler on your palm ✋. Children had to use chalk and a slate to Wright answers down if you got one wrong you’d stay after class and Wright the answer down a bunch of times if you got introuble you would stick your nose in a circle. That is what I learned from Pioneer Day.

Back then, it was hard for students. Some ways it was hard for them was they couldn’t make mistakes. They did not have a lot of the things we have now like cars, electronics, or even pencils. They would get badly punished if they do not listen. The punishments included putting your nose in a small circle, getting slapped in the meaty palm of your hand, and (if you are a boy) having to sit next to a girl. Also the teachers expected very very highly of them. The girls sat on one side of the room while boys sat on the other. Instead of paper and pencils they used chalk and a slate. You would have to complete all your chores before you played with other kids. If you had a question you could not put your hand above your head and would have to stand up before you speak. The life for pioneer children was very hard.

Life in school was very difficult because you could not make a mistake or you would have a punishment. You could not giggle, laugh, turn your head, or raise your hand in the wrong way. Punishments were dunce caps, getting hit with a ruler, having to put your nose in a circle for more the 20 minutes or sitting next to the opposite gender. P. S. Pioneer Day was fun

To start I learned that they used a chalkboard which is called a slate to write stuff down. And when you rase your hand you stand. And we are not aloud to say bathroom. And when boy are inside you take of your hat and when you get outside you take your hat of. And we were called jentlemen and ladies. If you got in trouble you get wiped by a ruler or you and if you get a question wrong you stick your nose in a circle and you do math facts on the board for the rest of the day. And ladies were always first and boys were last. And math was arithmetic. And ladies and boy don’t sit together girls on one side boys on one side. And you had to March and stand straight. Boys wore hats a girls wore bonnets. Their is a place called a out house it is a hole and you go to the bathroom in their. And you learned how to do cursive. And in the pioneers played a lot of games. That is what I learned about Pioneer Day.

This is what I learned about pioneers. Pioneers had many different rules. A few of those rules are that you have to march when you are in line, you have to take you hat off when you go into the building, when you need to go to the bathroom you have to say “may I please be excused,” and finally when you ask a question you must stand up to talk. Pioneers learned cursive so the could sight things and they also learned arithmetics. Arithmetic is another word for math. When they did math they didn’t have technology so the had to do it on slates. When ever they got free time they would play pioneer games. Pioneer children had it hard. They had a lot less items to help them with school, such as all electronics. They used slate and chalk to write in math, math was a lot easier though. For writing, they practice their cursive signature and they sing songs in the morning. Here are some of their rules, to raise your hand you cannot put it over your head only beside it. To talk, you have to either raise your hand or be spoken to. You get popped on the hand by a rod if you blurt out. There weren’t many children in school because you didn’t necessarily need schooling, just needed to know how to count and their signature.

Pioneer Day was very fun in my opinion, however it was pretty different from the real 1800s. First of all in the 1800s pioneers did not have the technology like the iPad I am using to write this, next they expected nothing less than perfection, if you were to even giggle you could get hit or have to stick your nose in a circle on a board, Last there was the language in the present day there is slang and proper but back then, you would get punished for using slang. These are a couple differences from our present day and the 1800s.

In my opinion Pioneer Day was fun.It was mostly different from the real 1800’s.Pioneer kids did not have technology like iPhones, iwach,iMac,MacBook,iPad,AirPods or TVs there was 0 technology (actually there was nothing). They expected only to be perfect,if you even giggled they would wack you with a ruler and I also learned that you would have to put your nose in a circle on a board but there was no whiteboards just mini chalk boards. You had to speak proper language or you would get hit.Just think how different it is today than it is now you get in way less trouble than you would back then. You would get punished.Pioneer day was to be specific 2nd favorite magic day of all time but my 1st one is wonka day.BYE🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙.I’m a super cool dude and I’m for real dude.Bye dudes or should I say cool dudes ok actually bye.See you at school coolheads.Bye
