The 3 parts of minerals are hardness, softness, and earthy. For example, hardness is the state of being hard. Also hardness is really strong and tuff. For softness, it is not hoing to be that hard because it is a mineral, all minerals are hard. For earthy, it is a color of earth such as green, blue, brown, and white. If a mineral has earhy colors then it is a earthy mineral.

Minerals are natural rocks with a charactic like harddness, softness, or a type of luster. Harddness is can it be scrached by a type of rock of different strangh. Softness is if it scrached by a serten rock that is the type of softness. A luster is the type that shows you what the rock is like, if it had the earth colors than the luster would be earthy luster.

One property of a mineral is hardness whitch means how hard the mineral is. One example is a dimond it has a hardness level of 10 which means it can scrach any mineral. Another property is color which means the color of the mineral. One example is a emerald it is green and a ruby it is red. The third property is shape which means the minerals shape. One example is a emerald has a shape of a rectangle and lots of other minerals have a shape to.

What i think the properties of minerals are hardness, luster, and earthy. Lets talk about hardness, the higher on mohs scale the harder it is to scratch, a diamond would be the on top, because it's almost impossible to scratch a diamond, that is a defenition of hardness and one property of minerals. What is luster? Well luster is how light reflects off of it, a glassy luster shines off it easily like glass, metalic luster has dull colors but shimmers, lastly earthy luster it light does not reflect at all, speaking of earthy, earthy is another property earthy is more like rocks we see daily not like diamonds. That is a simple definition of earthy. That is the 3 properties of minerals.

Three properities of minerals are luster, color, and hardness. Luster is how a mineral feels or looks. For example, a glassy luster feels smooth and has a light transparent color if it has any at all. Color is what something looks like or inthis case what a mineral looks like. Hardness is how tough a mineral is. For example, if a mineral was soft instead of hard then you could probably scratch it with a nail.

Minerals are a pretty cool this like some properties are hardness, luster, and color the hadness of the rock is well how hard the mineral is or soft because some of the rocks are soft. lusters meaning is apperence of a mineral surface in term of light reflecting off of it. Color is the color of the mineral like it can be brown, blue, gray, pink, purple, so many colors there are more then that though.

The three parts of minerals are softness, hardness, and earthy. Harness is a state of being hardness is also strong and hard to break The three parts of minerals are softness, hardness, and earthy. Harness is a state of being hardness is also strong and hard to break. Softness is easy to break.softness is easy to break, but it is still a mineral. Earthy is like colors blue green Brown and white. That is the three minerals.

3 characteristics of minerals of a mineral are its size, luster, and hardness. Size is basically how big or small a mineral is, nothing more to it. The luster of a mineral is kind of like a factor of it. The luster can be metallic, earthy, glassy, and etc. Say a mineral had a glassy luster. That would mean it’s very shiny. Hardness is how hard a mineral is, whether it is very hard, or it has very little hardness.

Minerals are pretty cool, Three properties of minerals are luster, color, and hardness. A luster is how a mineral feels for example, a mineral could feel rough or soft. Color is what something looks like but in this case it is what a mineral looks like. Hardness is how tough a mineral is for example example, if the mineral is higher on the mohs scale it is harder to scratch but if it is below five you can scratch it with your finger nail. That is three properties of minerals.

Three properties of minerals is hardness, luster, and magnetic minerals. Hardness is how hard the mineral is. For example, the Mohs scale scales how hard the minerals are 1-10. A ten is like a diamond, the only thing that can scratch or break it is another diamond because it is so hard. Another property is luster. Luster is how rocks reflect light. For example, copper, silver, and gold are all minerals that have a luster look to them. Also, there are many types of luster like glassy luster, metallic luster, and earthy luster. The last property I'm going to talk about is magnetic minerals. All magnetic minerals have iron in them. Some of them have a little bit, and some have a lot. For instance, magnets are made from these magnetic minerals because they have iron in them.

The 3 property of minerals are hardness, softness and luster. Hardness is how hard it is. For example a diamond hardness is a 10 because it can scratch every other mineral. Softness is the opposite of hardness so it the softness of a mineral.for example talc it is the softness mineral. Lastly, luster is the ability to reflect light. For example diamond you can see the luster from it.

Minerals are hard, soft, and earthy. Minerals are hard because if you drop it it will probably not break. A mineral is soft because it will probably be soft. A rock is earthy because it has earth colors.

3 parts of minerals is hardness, softness, and luster. Luster is the texture of a gemstone it could be hard or soft. Hardness is your ability to scratch other rock, and the toughest one is diamond scoring 10 on the mohs scale, and talc at one. Softness is how easily it can get scratched, and break on the mohs scale anything under five can get scratched by your fingernail.

Three properties of a mineral are hardness, softness, and glassy. Hardness is a type that show how hard the mineral is. Softness show what number (type) of the softness the mineral possesses. Glassy is how see-through or clear the mineral is. Those are three different types of properties of a mineral.

The 3 properties minerals are luster, hardness, and magnetism. Luster has three different kinds earthy, some copper or gold with a bright color, and then metallic, looks very strong bright gold, black inside and then glassy is see-through, looks fragile can be any color. If you see the Mohs scale it is telling about the minerals hardness so diamond would be a 10 and talc would be a 1. Finally, magnetic, some kind of minerals (tiny bits of The mineral mostly) in dirt, it isn’t always that strong.

The three properties of minerals are luster, texture, and earthy. First, luster is a great way to describe minerals. Luster describes how minerals reflect light. Here’s an example, imagine that you are in a cave and you find minerals gold, copper, and silver. Then, you bring them into the light, you will see it start to sparkle. What type of luster is that? This is metallic luster. Another type of property that describes minerals is texture. Texture is the way something feels. So, this means that if you touch a mineral that it might feel bumpy, hard, soft or smooth. The last property I thought of was earthy. Earthy means that the mineral will look dark. What I mean by that, is that it can be like a dark color like purple, navy blue, or really any color. These are some of the properties I thought of.

Minerals they are rocks people find in caves. There are many types of minerals in the world here's three that I thought of luster magnetic lashes and glassy minerals. Luster is how rocks reflect light. Here's an example there are minerals that are common like copper silver and gold all those have light that can have reflection. Another mineral I'm going to talk about is magnetic magnetic rocks have iron in them which attracts things that are metal to it so say you had a magnet in your hand and you had a magnetic rock in your hand and you put that metal in front of the rock then it will attach to that magnet to make it stick onto it because that magnetic rock has iron in it to keep it to go to the magnet. And the last mineral I'm going to talk about is the glassy mineral is a rock that you can see through it's basically glass but just in a rock form you can see straight through it like say you put three fingers up behind that rock that you have that's really see through.

The rating is how powerful like a dimand it’s a 10 only a onther dimand can scratch it

minerals are a natural substance usually thought of part of a cave can be glassy, earthy, metallic, and much more but the three properties I will be talking about are the ranking on a mohs scale, the color, and the texture. first is the mohs scale if we think about what we have learned so far in our science books we have learned that the lower the number the more minerals that can scratch it and the bigger the number the less minerals that can scratch it. next is color I'm pretty sure that we know what colors are but minerals are naturally colored. some minerals can be bright magenta to a dirty orange and even a dark blue. lastly texture. texture is how something feels we all know that. some minerals are REALLY smooth and some others are rough and bumpy.

There are 5 properties of minerals but I’m going to talk about 3 of them hardness, luster, and streak. For example, a diamond doesn’t scratch so it has 10/10 hardness. The next example is luster. Luster is how much light shines off the mineral. Another example is streak. You can tell a minerals streak by scratching it on a rock. To sum it all up these are just 3 properties of minerals.

The three properties of minerals are Luster , hardness and color. In regards to hardness this addresses how resistant the surface of the mineral is to scratching. In regards to Luster is what the object looks like in reflected light. It could be that the Luster is pearly or waxy just for two examples of Luster. The color of a mineral is expressed as the main color as well as the accents of color that are seen on the axis of the mineral.

Three properties for minerals is shape, luster and scrach test. Shape is how it is formed like if it is a square shape or if it is a circle. They can be all different shapes. The next one is luster it is how much the mineral reflects back so if the mineral is a lighter color than it is more likely to reflect better than a darker mineral. Last of all is the scrach test it is on how hard it is to scrach that mineral like if there was a quarts and there is also a dimond, you would scrach the two together the one with the biggest mark would mean that it is easier to scrach. Those are three of the properties for minerals.

What are three properties of minerals? Three properties of minerals are hardness, luster, and earthy. Hardness is one of many possible textures of an object. There is a mohz scale that tells you the hardness of a mineral. One is the softest and ten is the hardest. A diamond is a ten, which means it is hard to break and hard to squish. Luster is the shimmer or shine on an object. A diamond has lots of luster and most minerals do too. Last but not least, earthy is a low luster colors. The colors are green, blue, brown, a few white. A few examples of earthy minerals are kaolinite, limonite, and other hematite species. Those are three properties of minerals.

The three properties of minerals are luster ,Earthy, glassy. Luster is a mineral that has an ability to reflect light an example is, a purple mineral. A purple mineral is shiny so it has the ability to reflect light. Earthy has to do with the colors. The colors are like green and Blue an example is an emerald. An emerald has mostly green. Last one is glassy, glassy is like see through. An example is a diamond, a diamond is clear. You cant see so well that it’s like there is nothing in front of you, it’s like if you got a full water bottle and put it in front of your face. Those were the three properties of minerals luster, Earthy, glassy.

type of mineral is hardness. Hardness is when you use a rock to hit the a other rock if the rock has a scrach then the rock that you used to hit the other rock is harder and can break the rock. The last type of mineral is softness so like hardness if you use a rock to hit another rock the rock that has a scratch has softness.

The three types (Properties) of minerals are hardness, softness and earthy. Hardness means being hard. Something being in the state of hard is a diamond. A diamond can't be scratched by almost anything. Softness is the state of being soft. Talc, a mineral so soft that it can scratched by a fingernail. On the Mohs scale, Talc scorces a 1. A mineral that scores a 1 or 2 can be scratched by a fingernail. Earthy is a type of luster. Luster is the look of a mineral when you shine light on it. An earthy luster would look if you fing some dirt underground and shine light on it. Metalic luster is the shine that looks, well, metalic. Same with glassly luster.

The three types of rocks are igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic. First, igneous rock is a rock that is hot then cool. Here are some rocks that are igneous. There is obsidian, basalt, and granite. Here’s an example, so imagine that you are on a hike and you find obsidian. This is rock that came from cooled lava. Next, sedimentary rock is a rock that has many layers. Here are some rocks that are sedimentary, there is shale, limestone, and conglomerates. Imagine that, you went to the beach and you went scuba diving and found a rock. That can be one of these rocks because of the sediment being carried by the ocean. Lastly, metamorphic rock is a rock that is formed by pressure. These are the rocks that are metamorphic, there is schist, shale and gneiss. Here is an example, say that you went to the Grand Canyon and you found a rock implanted in the ground. That is there by layers of rock forming on the ground. These are the three types of rocks.
