Matilda is smart because she could walk to a library. She could pick a book by herself or, she could describe The Secret Garden to the lady at the library . She could also read all the children books and then read hard books in the library.

I know this cause the story said that Matilda could talk perfectly when she was the age of 1! Also, the story said she was reading high school books! It was like, WHAT!? The story said that her parents were mean. The story said she went to a library when her mom was out playing bingo without noticing, like a sneaky person. In conclusion, Matilda does not go to school like what the, that's very smart for a child.

I was absent today and missed out on reading. I have read my friends blogs and it seems she must be very smart since she could read and walk when she was a baby. I cannot wait for the rest of the book.

The reason how I know Matilda is smart is because she could read adult books in about a week. Also she can walk to the library on her own. She also could make perfect speeches when she was one! Matilda is very smart!

Matilda is smart and can visualize in all the books she reads. The book also said she had perfect speech at the age of 1. Then the book says that instead of watching the telly she read all the newspapers in her house. At the library she read the whole children section and wanted to read the college books.

I know the textual clues by, her going to the libray and reading an adult book. Also that her parents are mean to her and most smart people get bullyed. Also her mum and dad call her ingnoant and tell her to watch the telly like nomal kids.

Matilda is very smart because she could read all the children s books in the children s section. she could talk and walk at the age of one! She taught herself how to read at the age of four! She did not watch the telly. All she did was read. Imagine that only reading i could not do that.I watch it a lot, unlike Matilda. Could you? She is very smart. She is like super girl! But at the age of four. That is so awesome! HUH, and her parents don't even care about her. They wouldn't care if she came in the house with a broken leg. What bad parents they are.Poor poor Matilda.:- (

I know Matilda is smart because she likes to read. She g www s to the public library every day. When she was 4 years old, she was reading grownup books. She has read the Einstein books so I would bet she is smart. Her father even said, "Why don't you like the telly?" because she reads instead of watching T.V.

Because Maltida processes information and uses it far more efficiently than other people which is evident by the fact of her high sense of moral and sensitivity. All traits that point to precocious aptitude and intelligence. She reads books that most adults struggle to read and fully understand and reflect on. She’s wise, and is highly developed emotionally for her age. She can come up with novel solutions in mere seconds and lastly, I know she’s intelligent also because her brilliance extends to aspect of not just school subjects but grander aspects of life such as love and friendships and family. Even adults struggle with this.
