Perpendicular are lines that touch each other. If you have a opened shape you can not say that the open spot is perpendicular because there is no line there and nothing is touching the other lines. You also can not use a shape that doesn't have any straight lines like a circle but you can use a square, rectangle, and even a triangle.

This is what I found. First I found a plus on the tv remote. Next I found the creases in the walls. Last I found a puzzle piece that was purpendicular. That is all the things I found in my house.

A perpundicular line is two lines connect and are straight up and down. In my house I have a coffee table that the wood is straight up and down.

You can find perpendicular shapes around your house, such as a painting, storage box, or a T.V. Maybe you might find a shelf that is perpendicular. Tables are perpendicular. A hot tub sits perpendicular to the ground.

My kitchen table has perpendicular lines. My windows and doorways do too. My basketball hoop backboard is perpendicular and my soccer goal.

Perpendicular lines are lines run into each other. An example would be the corner of a bed, a TV, book corners, LEGO corners, and where rectangle tiles meet on the floor.
