When three or more numbers are added, the sum of all numbers when added are the same. So it doesn't matter how you add them since the totals are always the same.

The associative property is way to solve problems that have more than two numbers. The sum of both addends should be the same. If you do not get the same answer you did something wrong.

It is helpful because no matter how many numbers you have on either side when they are the same numbers, the answer will be the same. Yes it is useful because it helps you do math faster, by choosing numbers you can add in head first.

I think the associative property should be when you are adding & rounding with three or more numbers like 1,485, that's more than three numbers .

It may help to pay bills one day. I also think that it will solve many hard problems we can not figure out when it comes to this property.

The associative property of addition is when you have 3 or more numbers you are adding and you change the order they are listed. You still get the same answer no matter what way you flip the numbers around.

It's like when 2 sets of numbers equal the same number. It's like 1+5=6 and 4+2=6.

Putting apostrophes on the side of two numbers and then add the two numbers.then take that number and add it to the third number.
