The difference between a wet and dry season is that one is really wet and lots of raining happens, and the dry is a really dry season that’s good for fires. There’s a type of snail at the Everglades that comes out and sits on trees in the wet season but in the dry it closes its shell and sticks to a tree for the entire season. That is the difference between a dry and a wet season.

I’m going to talk about the Everglades. The difference between the two seasons are that wet season has a lot of rain, and the dry season has a lot fires. The wetlands is covered with water each 1,000 years. There is a type of snail that live in forest when there’s a fire the snail will sorta hibernate for a long time they hibernate for about six months. In the dry season there is a plant that adapted to a way to survive the Safire it’s called the Pine tree. It is very tall and survives the fire with thick bark.

Dry season is whenever it’s very dry there’s like no water at all and that’s about it. What season it’s just wet it’s everything is wet and stuff is there could be flooding. There was one trail learned about that has layers to protect it and at Circle B bar somewhere I forgot where they make you can see a show where they burn plants they do that so they can reduce stuff or make the trees better I heard about the snail that lives on trees and it’s pretty cool

In the Everglades there are a variety of habitats and two of them are mountain habitats and valley habitats. Another habitat is the hard wood hammock. The hard wood hammock Is dry and surrounded by wetlands. We are not drounded in water because of limestone which the aquifer is made of. The aquifer is a underground cave full of fresh water. The aquifer leaks out fresh water for us to drink. The bumbo limbo trees are great at adapting to things like lichen and hurricanes. There is an animal that adapted to lichen and its name is ligous tree snail. There’s two seasons in the Everglades dry season and wet season which go off the animals. When dry season is there they know there will be no water and when wet season is there they know there will be water. During the dry season snails will be hibernating and during the wet season they won’t. Another habitat is the pinelins there not much soil there and it’s endangered which means there’s no much left. In the pinelins they have to burn with control fire because it adapted to fire and if it looks dead and charc doesn’t mean it’s dead it’s very much alive. Non native plant mean it’s supposed to be here and imphasive means it’s harming the environment. Snakes were very popular pets back in the day( or today because Mrs. Jacques has six) like the burnem python. Some plants start with the same name has there environment around them like pinneedle this is what I learned bye 👋❄️🌊🦴🐺❤️🐎

The dry season is very dry and has no water. It is usually longer then the wet season. During the dry season humidity is super low, and some water sources dry up. Animals are affected by the dry season because there is lack of water and food. The wet season is when it rains most. It is more humid and lasts shorter than the dry season.

In the dry seasons, it is warm and hot, so it’s easier for fires to start in the Pine Lands. These fires cut down plants other than the pine trees, making the pine trees the tallest plants in the Pine Lands. But, the Pine Lands are adapted to fire, so the fire isn’t hurting the Pine Lands.

The difference between the wet and dry seasons in the Everglades are, 1. The dry season can easily start fires 🔥. 2. The wet season can create floods 💦 ! 3. A lot of water evaporates during the dry season. And 4. During the wet season, it rains almost every day! 👍👍👍

I’m going to talk about wet and dry seasons and how they are different. First, you can tell it is dry season because there is not that much training going on. In the dry season fires usually happen a lot. What are these trees that can catch on fire easily are pine trees. Pine trees do not like fire AT ALL. Pine trees have lots of needles on the top that can get lit up by fire. Mainly fires happen because of people. You can also tell it is dry season from where it is really hot outside. Second, when it is the wet season it tends to rain more. In what season it is very rare if a fire happens. The fire could happen when lightning strikes from the storm. In the Everglades zoom they said in the wet season in the snail likes to move. But in the dry season it likes to stay stuck to a tree. Those are some things I learned about the wet and dry seasons from the Everglades zoom.

I am going to be telling you the difference between a wet season and a dry season. First, a wet season is wet and has a lot of rain. Second, a dry season is dry, hot, and has lots of fires. Now I’m going to be telling you the examples of a wet season and a dry season. The examples of a dry season is when it’s very hot animals suffer to survive. When it’s dry there’s barely water for animal’s. When the fires come by it might burn the animals home. The examples of a wet season is when it is wet from the rain it will help the animals and the trees/plants to survive. Without rain the plants and the grass it will dry up.

Today we’re learning about the Everglades. First, they talked about lime stone. Limestone is sedimentary, it’s made up of the world. A few plants are the do limbo tree. Plants adapt in concisions. Lucan is something that grows on trees. Bark even if it’s browbeat cab be blue, yellow, and other colors. Another habitat is pinelines. Pine trees are everywhere. The trees were burned by fire, but they’re still healthy. So they’re adapted to fire. It’s adapted because of lighting. Fun fact: 1949 was when it officially became a national park. The dry season and wet season is different because on dry season it’s hot and not a lot of water is used like rain or something. But on wet season it’s completely wet! It rains everywhere. I’m pretty sure right now is wet season, because it’s Been raining a lot. That’s all!

Hello I’m gonna be telling you what is the difference in between a dry season and a wet season.A wet season is when most rain and hurricanes appears. But in the dry season this is one of the most times where fires go on. Now that you know what they are we can compare and contrast them. In the dry season there is a lot of humidity but in the wet season it’s very cold and cloudy. Now that you know the difference between the weather and during the season now I can tell what are the animals doing during the season.Animals usually have lack of water during the dry season because it’s so hot and also they are runaway from the fires that happened during the season. Well in the wet season it is usually cold it’s very rainy so we have plenty of water and the grass grows like crazy so they have enough food to eat.Not all fires are bad. Some people do on purpose. You may think that’s crazy why would they set a fire. Let me tell you why. People set the fire is because when soil gets the nutrients sucked because of the plants The soil needs the nutrients so they burn the plants .But people do they set a fire or a controlled fire and what they do is they keep it under control and they burn that area and so the soil can have plenty of nutrients. And sometimes you’ll figure it out that it is a wet or dry season because the soil the soil will be very dry during the dry season because it is hot outside or in the wet season will be very muddy and squishy.

I’m going to be telling you about dry season and wet season. The wet season there is a lot of rain. In the dry season there is not a lot of rain. The wet season there are not a lot of animals because the animals will stay with there young and they don’t want to get wet. In the dry season there is a lot of animals because they want to be hot and they want for there pray to come out so that they can eat. And here are some facts about the both of them.

OK I am going to be talking about the Everglades the Everglade is known as the biggest lake we are online stone the lime stone has hole that is where the hole comes from on the ground and waves there is trees and plants and they can’t turn very tail those trees are home for blackbear and black panther gum ball and ball trees don’t grow nothing on it the green in the plants is gold in the Everglades people always take something for dumb and there is a lot of animals and a lot of water it is the the the dry season so what most moist and they can stick on the trees and there is mountains near Pine Place in the place is very hard Sandy and it is in these people got helped make the read its name water down break and so much more they put a a fine but that is good because it makes the dirty wind leave on the ground and then the ground takes away cleaner and it is firefighters have very sick not all the time they make the fire it sometimes does it a lot of times by itself.

It is so dry during dry seasons that a fire can start super fast. The only trees left in the Pinelands are palm trees when a fire starts. The dry season leaves only the plants that have adapted to the fire. The dry season has very brown and withered plants because of all of the heat.

Today I’m gonna be talking about the wet (summer) and dry season (winter). In the Everglades they are two seasons what season and dry season usually the dry season is longer during the dry season. Plant life and animal life suffers but as the rainy season begins. life flourishes is in the area this climate is caused by changing wind and ocean currents. I hope you know all about the wet and dry seasons.

The dry season is a season when it’s really dry in places and with that being so dry, it means that a fire can occur by someone throwing a cigar, cigarette, into the grass when it’s still lit and that can cause a spark to happen and touch dry grass or a plant and cause a fire as well as a lighting bolt when it strikes the ground, plant, to tree to catch fire and set the whole forest on fire but sometimes people mean to set a fire in a dry season (doesn’t just haft to be dry season) an that is called a controlled fire. A controlled fire is when people(s) set a fire in way with gasoline so it will burn down the plants to make nutrients for other plants or for other plants to grow.

To being, the dry season is went there is like no rain but just a little bit and there is little water during the dry season some trees die and plant the gumbo limbo tree doesn’t die like the oak trees. The wet season there is a lot of rain and a lot of plants and tree growing the plants and trees will get a lot of nutrition so they can grow big unlike the dry season were plants and trees only grow a little bit. That is all that I will be talking about the dry and wet season.

Today I’m going to tell you the difference between the wet season and the dry season. The dry season is when you have little to no rain. Sometimes a tree gets struck by lightning and it starts a fire well that’s ok because most plants are adapted to fire. But for the ones that aren’t they burn so they don’t get to overgrown. The wet season is when there is lots of rain and all the plants that were burned they grew back because there ashes provide nutrients for the new ones. The wet season also is the breeding season for most animals so in the spring time they will have baby’s. That is what I learned on my last forest Friday.😀😀😀😀

This is what I learned about dry and wet seasons. Dry seasons are basically seasons that are dry. If it's a dry season fires can start easily. Fires are made by people, lightning and sparks. The reason sparks can catch fire is because of how dry it is. Some plant are adapted to fire meaning the fire doesn't actually harm the plants. In fact the fire can actually help them. When there is fire in the pine tree area the pine needles already on the ground lead the fire. Wet seasons are when it isn't dry so things can grow again. Wet seasons have lots of rain so nutrients gets into the plants. The hard wood hammock is a wetland meant to be filled with water but it is not filled with water right now. Once it is a wet season though the water will probably be back. That is what I learned about dry and wet seasons.

Wet and dry seasons: wet seasons are seasons like summer and spring where there is lots of rain so that’s why spiders like to come into your house, it rains, think of the itsy bitsy spider song. Keep in mind this stuff I just know and keep in the back of my head. Dry seasons are the opposite, rain just doesent happen often. Examples of dry seasons are fall and winter, think of this with your big brain 🤓 rain hates dry seasons and loves wet seasons. I felt confident doing this blog considering that I wasn’t there on Friday.

You may probably think that there are 4 seasons right, spring, summer, winter, and fall. But to the animals there are only 2. The first season is the dry season. This means that there is not a lot of rain and it is really dry. Because everything is so dry fires catch easily and it burns through everything. In some ways the fires can be good, it burns out the weed and bacteria on the plants, but it can also be bad. Fires come through and they can burn down certain plants. Fires come through a habitat called the pine land. The pine land consists of… you guessed it pine trees. If you have ever seen a pine tree you might have noticed that all their branches are at the top. This is so the fire doesn’t get easy fuel, and so it can survive. But the fire doesn’t get fuel from pine trees, but fire starters. The pine needles from pine trees fall from the trees and can catch fire really easily. If you have ever burned your Christmas tree, you would know how flammable it is. And even though fire rushes through the pine land, the pines trees are fine. From the outside of a pine tree it may look scorched, and you might think it is dead, but really the pine tree has a bunch of layers of bark, so the fire only burns the outside and the inside stays fine. And last the pine land has little soil, so the fire doesn’t harm the ground. But natural fires aren’t the only type of fires, there are prescribed fires. Prescribed fires are fires that are intentionally set by humans to do the environment good. Let’s move on to the wet season. The wet season just means that there is a lot of water and it rains constantly. One place that this matters to is the hardwood hammock. A main tree that holds up the hardwood hammock is the gumbo limbo tree. Gumbo limbo trees are drought resistant, and are adapted to Florida’s climate. Gumbo limbos are also adapted to hurricanes and lichen. Gumbo limbos have flaky bark so whatever lichen is living on it falls off easily. Gumbo limbos are special, they don’t have leaves, yet they still photosynthesize. A animal in the hardwood hammock is the tree snail. The tree snail needs moisture, so in the wet season it thrives and live fine, but in the dry season it clings tho a tree and closes up all holes in it's shell, it then keeps all the moisture inside to stay alive. All of this is in the amazing Everglades. It was established in 1947, thats 74 years ago! The Everglades is huge, it is 49 million acres. The Everglades isn’t all hammock and pine land, there is also some wetland, but that doesn’t cover all of it either. The Everglades also isn’t just flat ground. It has hills and valleys, I know that may seem unreal because it is in Florida, but they are there. And to end off a little fact is that pythons are also in the Everglades, but are invasive. Also pythons became a popular pet in 1980.

Everglades and dry/wet season. So in the dry season is going on everything is dry and when the wet season happens it’s tends to rain more that’s why it’s wet so dry land is everything dry and wetland is basically when everything is rainy and wet and like when it’s foggy and wet and stuff like that so they were only two seasons summer and dry season winter and usually the dry season the dry season is longer and also during the dry season plant life and animals lives have a hard time trying to survive but as the wet season begin begins life and needs the water to survive in some areas and don’t forget about the climate because sometimes it’s all about temperature and by changing the wind and ocean currents.BYE

There are two seasons the dry season and the wet season wildlife acts differently depending on the dry and wet season. For example a Lignus Tree Snail is active during the wet season but they hibernate in the dry season so they won’t dry out. The dry season is where there is not much rain and the wet season has lots of rain. The dry season is also when the pinelands catch fire so the slash pines won’t grow tall.

First I’m going to teach you about wet season and dry season. Wet season is very wet and rainy and some times there are hurricanes and floods which can happen to rivers lakes and swamps. During wet season there is barely never fires. Did you know about lime stone it is a rock made out of Dead coral and dead animal fossils. When it is wet season it over flows river lakes swamps. When it is wet season plants grow a lot from the water. And it can Drown pants. In wet season if it rains animals need shelter when it rains to hard plants fall from the water. did you know if their is a fire in the wet season it will stop the fire That is what I learned about wet season. Now I’m going to teach you about dry season first it is dry. In dry season there is a lot of fires. Did you know in dry season plants don’t grow because it never rains. Fire can be happened by humans lighting strikes and sparks. Plants can die from fires when fire is close to one. Some people cause fires on purpose because a certain type of plant when fire on them they grow. Did you know dry season is like the dessert that dry. Now that is what I learned about.

Some thing weared is that their are only two seasons in the Everglades there is first one is dry season and next is a rainy season people there if fire doesn’t happen they go out their with big tools 🛠 and spread a fire 🔥 it is called control fire. If some thing went wrong they would spray water 💦 on the fire to stop it but some times the fire starts on its own by lightning ⚡️ that hits in the pine lands there are many pine trees 🌲 and pine cones and pine needles to the needles help the fire spread out to other places when the fire is done the tree looks dead ☠️ but the tree is fine it is adapted to fire 🔥. That is all by

Today I will be telling you about the wet and dry seasons. To start off , wet season are wet obviously, and they get wet by rain . The rain helps the nutrients wherever it is . Now I’ll be talking about dry season. Dry season are places where fires start easily. These fires may start by lightning. For example, if an object on the ground attracts the lightning it could catch and set on fire.

Wet season is were lot of rain is coming and were it is very very wet like say a hurricane came through that is in wet seasons. Dry seasons are Sumer and spring so for a dry season to dry it would be time for perserved fires and very very dry and no rain for a while like if it had no rain plant and grass would be very dry hard grounds

These are some things that I learned from the Everglades video. To start off with the Everglades are a very wet place 💦.Did you know that your actually standing on limestone.Limestone is a rock that is built with lots of fossils with a bunch of holes limestone is actually a sedimentary rock. The word endangered means that there’s not much of that item or animal left.if your ever in the Everglades the is bright colored red really tall and skinny and has liken on it that’s a gumbo tree. Some seasons are the wet season and the dry season the dry season is we here it’s very ☀️ and most likely to start a 🔥 the wet season is where there’s lots of rain and it’s not likely to start a fire.Hope you learned some things about the Everglades.
