An aquifer is an under ground rock. If I was in a survival situation first, I would get a lay of the land and see what kind of resources that I will have. Then I will try to get some food some how like if I was in a forest I will try to set traps. But if I was in a island at low tide I will make a v shape and fish will get caught in there next time it is low tide. After that I will make a distress signal like an SOS single or burn up green stuff like grass or green leaves. Then I will make a shelter with all the the things I can find. This will probably never ever happen because I am a kid.

We learned that first the water is underground in the dirt. Then it falls through and goes into the springs. After that the water evaporates up into the clouds. Then it rains back down to the ground and slips through limestone, slowly falls through sand, and slides through dirt. Finally it reaches the big, beautiful, blue springs. This is an interesting cycle. To find water you could... 1) Listen for the sounds that it makes. or 2) If you know which direction the water is you could use a compass to find your way back.

An aquifer is an underground cave that has clean non polluted water inside. When you hear spring water coming from underground, well now you know where it comes from. If you were ever in a survival situation and were looking for water, then here's what you need to do:1 try to listen for a waterfall and 2 once you find the spring or waterfall, then if you have something that rinses out most preferably a towel or a sweat towel, then you can take it to the side of the water dunk the towel in the water and finally take it out of the water, wring it out and then you have fresh water. Another way you could get fresh water (only from a spring) is take an empty water bottle swim to the middle of a spring look for the actual spring and take the empty bottle and put it up against the spring and voooiiilllaa... you now have fresh water.

I was not there but I’ve been researching and an aquifer is where water is deep in the ground by limestone and rock. If I was in a survival situation I would drink from a warterfall or dig a well deep in the ground to find fresh water.

An aquifer is a under ground cave. An aquifer sucks clean water than it goes in the springs. Water evaporates to form clouds and clouds form rain. The ground absorbs rain water which leads into the aquifer. In Florida water passes through limestone and then the water is trapped by non-porious rock making the aquifer. Much of the ground water people drink comes from aquifers.

At Crystal Springs we learned that the water in the aquifer flows very slowly and may not get out for thousands of years. If we were in a survival situation, and there was a lake or river around, we could boil the water to drink it. We could also put a bag over plants in the sun to collect water.

An aquifer is an underground cave that holds water. An aquifer sucks the fresh water than it goes in the springs. Then it evaporates to the clouds and the clouds rain and the water goes into the dirt then the sand and goes through lime stone and goes back to the aquifer.

I leaned that aquifer is a underground rock that water can go through the rock into a cave and repeat all over again. We watch the spring water come form the ground.

A aquifer is a underground rock that you get water from. If I was in a survival situation first I would make the SOS signal by blowing a whistle 3 times. If no one comes then make a shelter to live in until someone comes to pick you up.And make sure that NEVER happens again.

I’f I were in a survival situation I would get water by scooping out water and then boil it and let it cool then drink it.

An aquifer is something you can find and drink out of. It flows from underground and It comes from the cave. If I were in a survival situation like that I would first find water.[I will boil it and then I would drink it.] Then I would make a shelter so I can stay dry and warm. Next I would find some food so I can stay alive. Last I would wait until someone finds me and rescues me! I hope that It NEVER happens to me .

An aquifer is an underground cave in the water. It has fresh water in it.When I'm hiking I will make sure I will be prepared. I will 1) bring myself and maybe my friends enough water to last us a few days. I will 2) make sure I have enough food to last me a week. I will 3) make sure I have a compass and a map with me. I will 4) make sure I have clothing,a tent, and a sleeping bag. Last but not least I will make sure I have a mobile device and something bright but I really want for that to never to happen.

co2 in rain causes cracks in the ground allowing the aquifer water to rise and form spring.
