There is something called Spanish moss you will normally find it hanging off of a pine tree. Some thing else is the swamps water will travel all the way to the hills borrow. A fact about it is it can hold over 30 million gallons of water that is how much goes in to the hills barrow. This are some facts about the crystal spring.

Florida hike spring water is fresh water from the sink we can’t break the watch he say that is bad because the water goes around the world flowers and the flowers their trays or trees and plants and there’s trees are with some Spanish moss one of the trees they have is old trees and pine frame their ground is burned because they do that on them Because it burns all the bad plants and sponges the animal sponge or sponges now I am going to talk about animals they have years like turtles snapping bobcats a snack bobcats raccoons and so much more they are vertebrates if they have backbones invertebrates are in the ones that don’t have that The animals that don’t have backbones and they have exoskeleton and they have ants and they have it a lot of bad body parts they have six legs and they are called cold blooded they can turn hot with the sun like frogs they have webbed feet and more they are have four legs and frogs are cold blooded in there lots of birds thereOf kinds of body parts for a reason they’re short backs and weeks they have eggs and they are warm blooded fish have gills for for them to breathe and fish are vertebrates some fish have teeth but sometimes they lay eggs there’s one big fish that gives like birth but the shark and mammals warm blooded and we are to reptilesBlooded reptiles are cold blooded and they can go to the sun and warm up and some can’t swim and some canned they lay eggs and my birth and the orcas that can’t swim are the ones that have webbed feet the only ones aquatic turtles are the only ones that can’t swim in water and there are there are lots of animals that are not supposed to be here in Florida they are called invasiveThey have art called invasive and they have types of species and they can camouflage they can make a borough to keep them warm and they have lots of options and can talk there so go to go to sleep if you put your hand in San boil you can touch the lime stone there are types of turtles and some of the animals get in there bro and there areEcosystem and they live in lakes ponds and so much more and there’s animals need food and water to survive in their favor can you go all the way to Canterbury Getz the animals and Bay can because they are while there are time there that time that they are out of or in their place there are ones that hibernate And that is all I’m gonna talk about the Florida hike.

Ok. So we have heard buddies and invertebrates vertebrates have backbones like humans dogs elephants and giraffes invertebrates they don’t have backbones like worms spiders and crabsNow here’s some more. There’s a thing as a Spanish moss you’ll find it in Pine trees and did you know that pinecones can be girls or boys.

There’s salt water and fresh water but fresh water does actually have salt water in it. Amphibians can swim in fresh water but they will die in salt. The only difference is one has a lot of salt and one only has a little. In crystal springs there is something called a aquifer, that is a underground cave made up of limestone. Limestone is a sedimentary rock made of dead coral and fossils. The aquifer is a little thing of water that bubbles and shoots up fresh water crystal springs has so many that 30 million tons of water leave there place every day! There are two types of plant’s flowering and nonflowering like Spanish moss that is a nonflowering plant, ferns are too! There’s a type of fern called a resurrection fern that when it rains the plant goes brown like it’s dead but when the rain stops it go’s bright green again! The two types of animals are vertebrae witch means they have a backbone and invertebrae witch means they don’t have a backbone.

I’m going to tell you about Crystal Springs. First a spring is a natural hole in the ground filled with freshwater. The water that in the ground gets its water from the aquifer. Now I’m going to tell you about the plants. I will tell you the two categories of plants flowering and nonflowering for example a a life Southern Oak is a flowering plant. Spanish moss is a flowering plant as well must actually have scales it looks kind of like ice. Spores are in our non-flowering plant. Not flowering plants reproduce by seeds. Controlled burns are a good thing for the soil. It gives it more nutrients. Did you know there can be female and male pinecones. 75% of the world is animals! Animals are separated into two categories vertebrates and invertebrates. And vertebrae has a back bone. A invertebrate has no back bone. Invertebrates it separated into five categories mammals reptiles birds and Fabians and fish. An example of a mammal is like an elephant. A example for a reptile is an alligator. A example for a bird is a great blue heron. A example for an amphibian is probably a frog. I don’t really know names of fish fo here you go 🐠. Now I hope you learned a whole bunch about plants spring and animals.

I’m going to be taking you on an adventure called Florida Hikes. To start off fresh water isn’t just fresh water it also has salt water in it. It rains a lot did you know it rains about 30,000,000 million gallons every day! The aquifer is what holds up Florida its what you stand on. We need crystal spring because of its natural water, we need water to sustain ourselves or else we will be dehydrated . Some plants you would find there is Live Oak. The live oak has a lot of roots and holds a lot of water. Somethings that grow on the live oak are Spanish moss. There are two types of plants are flowering plants and non-flowering plants the live oak is a flowering plant, the Spanish moss is a non-flowering plant. And the live oak can easily break. And a non-flowering plant is called a Gym-nose furn. It is protected by seeds. Some flowering plants are vegetables. The five categories are Mammals, Amphibians, birds, fish and reptiles which are all vertebrates. This how you classify life vertebrates and invertebrates. Vertebrates have a backbone, invertebrates don’t have a backbone. Example of them are insects, arachnids, crustaceans and Arthropoda. When these animals die some go in the water the get mushed together and form a rock called limestone thank you 😊 and by.

Im going to be telling you what i learned from the floridia hikes video. To start off with the reason we call oceans salt water is because theres actually tiny pieces of salt in the water. Now i also learned about invertebrates and vertebrates invrtebrates are animals that dont have backbones there most likley insects and vertebrates are animals that have a backbone most likely mammals. I learned about springs you can tell its a spings because it has fresh water. A cool fun fact is that pine cones have genders. Funfact butterflys are cold blooded.

What I learned was that our natural springs produce freshwater by water going through limestone. A vertebrate is an animal that has a backbone like mammals, reptiles, birds, and fish. A invertebrate is a animal that doesn't have a backbone like worms, crabs, spiders, and sponges. A native plant is a plant that originally grew in an area. That is what I learned on our last forest Friday. (~ ̄▽ ̄)~

Today we’re going to learn about crystal springs nature hike! First, I’m going to tell you about invertebrates and vertebrates! A invertebrate doesn’t have a back bone like insects, and bugs. A vertebrate is the opposite of it, vertebrates have back bones like mammals, fish, and others! Something they do at crystal springs is that they burn down they’re trees but thank goodness that the fire actually helps it growback, so if you think fire on plants is bad your wrong. I’m going to talk about plants now, flowering and no flowering. Flowering plants are plants that have flowers, for example sometimes moss has flowers in it. Nonflowering is the opposite. Im now going to talk about invasive and native plants! Native plants are plants that are suppose to be in Florida! Invasive plants aren’t allowed to be here. It’s the same with animals. For example pretend a polar bear was in the savanna, that would be invasive animals! Now I’m going to talk about warm blooded and cold blooded animals. A warm blooded is a animal that lives and is suppose to live in a warm place I think. A cold blooded is the opposite I think, it means to live in a cold place. Now for some extra facts! Did you know pine cones have genders? They can have a boy and girl pine one! There’s over 30 billion gallons of water in the hills barrow. That’s it about crystal springs nature hike! Bye! I hope you enjoyed!

Questions you may ask. Like what’s an invertebrate what’s a vertebrae ?What is your native plants in Florida? What is our natural springs in Florida ?If you ask any questions don’t be worried I have the answer. An invertebrate is a animal that does not have a backbone like a worm. And a vertebrae is an animal with a backbone like us or like a bird ,reptile ,mammal ,amphibian ,and fish. We are mammals so we are a vertebrate because we have a back bone. And did you know that the world is covered with 75% of animals that’s so cool. Next question what is the native plants in Florida. Serve native plants wait you don’t know what a native plant is don’t worry I got your back. A native plant is a plant that belongs in either this country, the state, or the city, or even this world. Now how do you know what a native plant is a plant like an oak tree you might find in a oak tree it’s better to be have a football field. And did you know that a pinecone could be a boy or a girl. And the last one about our natural Springs. Well how do I do we have natural springs. Well we have it awkward for under us and the aquifer for sips of water through rocks called lime stoneAnd lime stone is a sedimentary rock. So the water since the lime stone going making these puddles of water and it gets bigger and bigger and bigger make any spring. And then the water from the spring goes into the Hillsborough River and the Hillsborough River starts at the green swamp And goes down to go to the Springs clerks water and then off it goes into Tampa Bay.Now I am pretty sure that answered all your questions and I have and if I have it I’m sorry I must’ve forgotten.

I learned that Crystal Springs is home to a lot of plant and animal life. One native plant is the Spanish moss. The Spanish moss hangs off of the branches of oak trees, which can be found in Crystal Springs. I also know that vertebrates are living things that have a backbone. An invertebrate is any living that does not have a backbone.

Today we are going to be learning about what you were doing a nature hike or at Crystal Spring. First I’m going to be telling you about plants, the ways you can separate plants is my tank flowering or non-flowering.Plants can reproduce as spores and seeds. Some people might think that Christmas trees are pine trees but they’re not. Here is one way that you can tell that a pine tree is a pine tree they are spiky. Animals animals are separated into invertebrates and vertebrates there may different types of animals like fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians tomorrow, and mammals.

There are 2 different types of plants. Flowering and Non-Flowering. Flowering plants reproduce flowers and seeds. Non-Flowering plants don’t produce flowers or seeds. Some Flowering plants are oak trees and Spanish Moss. Oak trees are able to spread their branches as far as a football field. Spanish moss isn’t real moss. It is an air plant. It has no roots and it loves oak trees. The aquifer is our water source and it has some salt water. Also pine cones can have genders.

I learned from the crystal springs nature hike that limestone witch filters the water naturally is made of dead corral and fossils. Also, I learned that there are two types of plants called flowering plants and non - flowering plants. Flowering plants produce flowers and non - flowering plants don’t. An example of a flowering plant is a orange tree and an example of a non - flowering plant is a fern or moss. Now, let’s talk about vertebrates and invertebrates. An invertebrate is a animal that doesn’t have a backbone and a vertebrate and s an animal with a backbone. Examples of a vertebrate is an alligator, elephant, cat, dog ,mouse and more now an example of a invertebrate is plankton, crabs, and starfish.

Hello I’m going to talk about the Florida hikes. One of the first things I learned that freshwater is good and salt water is bad. I also got to see in the virtual field trip video Crystal Springs. I learned that Crystal Springs have brackish water in the water. I also learned, a watershed is a piece of land that is surrounded by water. Now I’m going to talk about the plants. An air plant can live on a tree. A air plant is a plant that is hanging off something. air plants have no roots they get their nutrients from the trees or the plant they were on. Here is a example of an air plant is Spanish Moss. A pine tree has different bark than an oak tree. It also has different leaves, it has needles in steadily. You can tell a fern by the bumps on it. It also talked about sand boilers they have sand and it looks like it is boiling it. That’s why they have the name Sand boiler. Moving road and not long to the next one.First he talked about invertebrates and vertebrates. Invertebrate don’t have backbones in their body. Vertebrates have a back bone in their body.

I will now talk about a nature hike, I learned that sword ferns, no not the long pointy weapon ones I mean plants, reproduce with spores that grow in the spring and summer that drop and reproduce in fall. I also learned (knew) about vertabrates and invertabrates and why are they red dotted under them? The words exist though people ok so vertabrates are animals with backbones and examples are birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians, and us, mammals. Invertabrates are the opposite they have no backbone and have an exoskeleton meanwhile we have endoskeletons examples of invertabrates are arachnids, insects, coral, crabs, mullusks, and sponges. That concludes my nature hike blog.

Did you no or national spring is fresh water. Did you no lime stone is underwater and limestone is made out of dead coral and it is made out of fossils because you see on it. Did you know pinecones can be boys or girls. Swamp water will travel it can hold over 30 million gallons. That is what I learned from the video.

Things I learned on the Crystal Springs nature hike was; 1. That freshwater actually has some SALT IN IT!!! 2. That Spanish moss eats the nutrients in dust. 3. That limestone is made of dead bodies. 4. How caribou moss is actually a type of lichen. And 5. Over 350 other animals use a gopher tortoise's burrow. Now I’m going to talk about vertebrates and invertebrates. All insects are invertebrates. Some underwater animals are, too. Next up, plants! I already talked about the Spanish moss, so I’ll tell you about some ferns. All ferns have these things called spores, which help the fern reproduce. And also ferns have their own group in the plants category. That is what I learned in the Crystal Springs nature hike.

First of all nature is filled with amazing things. It is filled with wonderful plants and animals. Now close your eyes(not really, you still have to read the text) and image you are on a nature hike. To start off we’ll go right into animals. The first and main thing to know about animals is that they are separated into two different groups, these are vertebrates and invertebrates. Vertebrate means that they have a backbone/spine, and invertebrate means you don’t have a backbone/spine. Today we will talk about mostly vertebrates, and I’ll tell you why later. The vertebrate group consists of fish, birds, amphibians, mammals and last but not least reptiles. To start off I’ll talk about amphibians. Amphibians are of course a vertebrate, they have webbed feet so they can swim, and you might be asking,” why would you see something that has webbed feet on a nature hike?” That’s because amphibians can live on land and in water. Amphibians, like most vertebrates are cold blooded, which means that they need the sun to warm them up, and lay eggs. Next, I’ll move on to birds. Birds, again, are vertebrates and have a backbone. But also they have a very unique characteristic called, feathers. Birds have three different types of feathers, they are tail feathers, wing feathers, and contour feathers. Birds, just like amphibians are also cold blooded and lay eggs. Alright, let’s move right along to the fish. As you know fish are also vertebrates. Fish also have unique characteristics, that’s right, not one but two characteristics that make them special. Fish have gills, their gills give them the ability to breathe underwater. Unlike us fish don’t have lungs, so they use gills instead. And just like birds and amphibians, fish are cold blooded and lay eggs. Wait not so fast, not all fish lay eggs, sharks are fish and they are the only type of fish that has live birth. Next up is us. No not humans, but all mammals. Again, we are vertebrates, I know this is getting old, but I have to mention it because, well they are. But unlike all the other vertebrates mammals are warm blooded, and they have live birth instead. And you probably know a lot about mammals because you are one(I hope) and I don’t need to explain much, but I will say that we are the only vertebrates with hair and fur. Last up is reptiles. Reptiles are like the rest(except mammals) they are cold blooded and lay eggs. Also they have a backbone and what not. Ok but back to the interesting stuff, reptiles have nice and cool scaly skin, and you might have even found a shedded snake skin in you back yard. Alright, before we get into plants, let me briefly explain about invertebrates, and in case you forgot invertebrate means they don’t have a backbone. Now most invertebrates are under the sea, so you wouldn’t see them on a nature hike, but there is one invertebrate you might see. Do you know what it is? That’s right, it’s insects. Insects have a exoskeleton, that means their bones/skeleton is on the outside. They also have antennas. And like most vertebrates they are cold blooded and lay eggs. And now we shall move on to the plants in nature. Plants(just like animals) are separated into two groups. These groups are flowering and non-flowering. Flowering means that they have flowers, and reproduce with seeds, non-flowering means that it doesn’t have flowers, and mostly reproduces with spores. But sometimes non flowering plants use seeds, these are called gymnosperms. The probably most well know flowering plant is the tree. Another flowering plant is moss, not the real moss, but the moss you see hanging on trees. But let’s go ahead into the non flowering. A lot of plants are non flowering, like ferns and real moss. Most types of ferns have spores underneath the leaves. One type of fern is the resurrection fern. The resurrection fern grows on trees,(the green stuff) it takes in from the tree, it basically lives off of the tree. Resurrection fern gets its name because when it rains, it gets lots of water and looks nice and green, but when there isn’t much rain it looks all dead and brown. And to end off I’ll talk about Florida’s springs. And not all springs, but one in particular, it is called crystal springs. You may have heard of them, because they make Zephyrhills water bottles. But let’s get back on track. Underneath Florida is something called an aquifer. And aquifer is a massive cave made from limestone. In these caves is water. This water gets there by going through 4 layers, these layers are soil, sand, clay, and limestone. Limestone has special holes that filter our water and make it clean. The limestone is made from fossils and dead corral, these fossils could be from around 2,000 years ago. One of the crystal springs springs produces 30 million gallons of water each day. This water flows into the hills burrow river and goes 40 miles th

Some of the invertebrates are in insects. Some animals are cold blood and some are warm blood. Birds, and mammals are warm blood but fish, reptiles, amphibians, and insects. People do control burns. Plants are spit in two categories flowering plant and no flower. No flowering plant use spores. Also there is air plants. Sword fern are no flowering plants. That is all that I will be talking about. The aquifer is made of lime stone that gives us freshwater to drink and springs use that freshwater to give to animals.

I’m am going to tell you what I learned about Crystal Springs. First thing that I’m going to tell you is, spring water has a little bit of salt in it. When people flush the toilet the water from the toilet water comes from the springs. In the springs there are trees and plants. Like Oak trees, Spanish moss, and Pinecone trees. Oak trees are flowering trees they can also stretch their branches far. Spanish moss is also a flowering plant and the Spanish moss is an air plant. Pinecones can be boys and girls. The boy pinecones look like they have pollen on them. The girl pinecones are different because they kind of look like they are wood pinecones. When you burn the native plants it helps the soil. Now I’m going to talk to you about the animals in the Crystal Springs. And invertebrate is when an animal doesn’t have a backbone and an vertebrate is an animal that does it have a backbone. I’m going to talk to you about the box turtle. When the box turtle is scared they will close their shell. As you can see, there are many different animals and landscape that are in Crystal Springs.

I learned a LOT about Crystal Springs some things are. To start off, there are flowering and nonflowering plants a flowering plant example is a daisy and an example of nonflowering plant is a fern. Most of the fruits and vegetables you eat are flowering plants. Pine cones can be boys or girls. Most plants not even lose 10% of their water but a type of fern can lose 97% of their water and still live that’s crazy! Rain deer is not really a moss it’s a lichen. Fires will make your plants and soil stronger and better. A type of oak tree can spread its branches as long as half a foot ball field. Second of all, invertebrates and vertebrates are different let me show you examples of them. An example of invertebrates is a bug or amphibians. An example of vertebrates is a mammal, bird, fish, and reptiles. The bugs and amphibians lay eggs and are cold-blooded. Most of the birds, fish and reptiles lay eggs. But mammals and only one type of reptile have live birth. Lastly the spring has sand boils and it looks like the sand is boiling. A cevst boil looks like water coming out of the rock. Salt in salt water comes from fresh water. Thank you for listening!

This is what I learned in the virtual field trip. First, I learned that there are two types of plant categories. They are called flowering plants and non-flowering plants. Flowering means the plants grow flowers and non-flowering means the plants don't grow flowers. I also learned that scales help Spanish moss grow. Since they are very tiny you can really see the scales. Gymnosperms have seeds like any other seeds but they're kind of special. They are special because pine cones protect their seeds. There is a water system underground called an aquifer. The aquifer filters water and then moves the water somewhere else. The aquifer is also a cave made out of limestone. Limestone is made of many fossils in layers making it a sedimentary rock. Basically limestone is made out of anything dead in the ocean, sea or spring. Reindeer moss is made of algae and fungus. A weird thing is that moss can look like a green carpet. Vertebrates and invertebrates have a difference. Its difference is that one has a backbone and one doesn't. Vertebrates have a backbone and invertebrates don't. All insects are cold blooded meaning if they want to cool off they would have to go to the sun because they can't control their body temperature. I know that amphibians have cold blood and reptiles have cold blood because of the virtual field trip. Feathers on birds aren't just there for show. They have purposes too. Fish have gills to breathe under water. Did you know some fish have teeth. They really do! Also sharks give live birth. I also know that mammals are covered in hair. There are two types of turtle like plants. The two types are aquatic turtles and land turtles. Land turtles have no webbed feet but aquatic turtles do. A box turtle is called a box title because of the way it can close its shell. It only closes its shell when it needs protection. Also sand boils are called sand boils because it looks like it's boiling. Gopher tortoises can live up to 80-100 years. A gopher tortoise belongs to the keystone species because of how it makes it burrow. Cyrstal Springs losses 30 million gallons of water each day because it keeps going into the Hills Burrow River. The Hills Burrow River then leads to Tampa Bay. Finally a Gopher Tortoise is as big as its burrow.

I would like to tell you about Crystal Springs. First, I will start with how big the land is. The land is about 30 acres and has 130 springs. Springs are natural holes in the ground that produce fresh water. Some of the native plants that Crystal Springs has are pine trees. Did you know that pine cones actually have a gender? Another tree is the oak tree. Did you know that oak trees usually have a plant called resurrection fern it can actually use 95 percent of it’s water without dying. Moving on to one last plant it’s a fern, since ferns don’t flower they use something called spores. Spores are used like seeds but they are carried in the wind easier. Next, I am going to talk about the vertebrate and invertebrate animals of Crystal Spring. The first animal is the box turtle, the box turtle is called a box turtle because when it is scared it can then tuck into it’s shell for protection and its a vertebrate. A invertebrate would literally be any insect instead of a backbone it has a exoskeleton. More information about Crystal Springs is that the Hillsborough River almost is the use for everything around that area that uses water.

An vertebrate it where there is a backbone such as elephants, cheetahs, humans, and lots more.A invertebrate is where there is no backbone like insects, crabs, and lots more.A spring is a body of water that is fresh,we even drink it the Zephryhills water is from a Florida spring.Plants live in 2 catagories.they are flowering and non-flowering.People burn tall grasses to get rid of bad things in it and grow new fresh ones. Some branches stretch their branches to half the size of a football field.Next there is limestone lime stone is made up of fossils and coral.Flowering is important because it helps seed.Non-flowering plant reproduce by spores.

We get bottled water from crystal springs. We will talk about plants first. There are two types of plants flowering and non flowering. An example of a flowering plant is an oak tree and Spanish Moss. Spanish Moss is not a moss. There are two types of non flowering plants these are jinosperns and ones that spread by spores. Jinosperns are plants that don’t flower but use seeds to spread. An example of a Jinospern is a pine tree. The pine cones on a pine tree is the pine tree’s cone. The other way a non flowering plant spreads is by spores. One type of plant that spreads by spores are ferns. There are many types of ferns. An example of a few ferns are sword ferns and resurrection ferns. Another plant that reproduces by spores is moss. Moss is spongy. There is also reindeer moss is made lichen. Now we are moving to animals. There are two types of animals, vertebrates and invertebrates. We will talk about invertebrates first. An example of a invertebrate is an insect. Insects have six legs and antennas. Next is vertebrates there are five major vertebrate groups these are amphibians, birds, fish, mammals and reptiles. We will talk about these groups in the order listed. Amphibians are cold-blooded. They also are very slimy and lay eggs. Birds have different types of feathers and they lay eggs. Birds are warm -blooded. Fish can breath under water. Most fish lay eggs but sharks and sea horses. Mammals have hair/fur. Mammals are warm-blooded and have live birth. Reptiles can lay eggs and are cold-blooded. Turtles can live 50-100 years. Turtles have counter shading. Turtles are omnivores. A gopher tortoises is a key stone species. That is all I have for you.

The bugs and amphibians mostly lay eggs. As well as birds, fishes, and most reptiles. But only one type of reptile and mammals give live birth. Lastly sand boils looks like the sand is boiling.

I learned that a sand boil is actually water just bubbling and I learned that when water goes through lime stone it filters and lime stone is made out of fossils and dead coral. The land is hug and they have a lot of springs all over the park and their are nonflowering and flowering Perdue nonflawering has spores to help and nflowering doesn’t have them it has flowers 💐 to help it. One crazy think is there is a tipe of fearn that can lose 97 of its water you know what else is crazy a pine cone can have a gender one animal is called a invertebrate it has no back bone 🦴. That is all I hope you liked it by. 😷

What I learned is that Turtles turtleslive in burrows and they have scuts. And I also that under us right now is lime stone and lime stone is what make are water purified. And what I mean is to clean our water so we can drink it and most of our water is from crystal springs. Our aquifer is made of limestone and also lots of shark teeth and fossils that are in the lime stone
