To start off, some rain water goes into the ground, but sometimes it can’t. This is called run off, run off is when storm water can’t soak into the ground, and instead flows into a drain. But do you ever wonder what happens before it goes in a drain or even after? If so here is the answer. First rain water doesn’t get soaked into the ground, but it has to go somewhere. Sometimes it can go into nearby water, but most of the time it goes into a storm water drain. While the water makes its way to the drain it collects pollutants, these are things that pollute our water. After it makes its way into the drain it goes through it, and into a body of water. It also brings the pollutants with it, this causes harm to the water. In fact polluted storm water runoff is the main source of water pollution in the United States. Most of the time there is a watershed that cleans the water partly. One example is the Peace River. This is the watershed of Lake Gwm. Normally there is no other filtration, but in some cases there is limestone. Limestone is a good way to filter out polluted water. When the water is clean it helps the plants living there, also know as biodiversity. The water helps plants like alligator flag, which is native, or is supposed to be here. But it also helps Brazilian Pepper, which is invasive, or shouldn’t be here. That is the journey of storm water.

The drain water goes into a huge body of water.A water shed is where water gets collected.Wetlands been around since 1970.A lot of earth had to be moved for the wetlands.Native plants belong here.invasive plants don’t belong here because it can cause danger to plants, animals, and even us.Bioervsity study living things here.

Well, stormwater is just rainwater but usually the water from a storm would go down the drains, but this water could stay put or move in to another body of water. That’s how lakes and streams get polluted. When the stormwater is making its way towards the lake it could pick up trash or bad chemicals. That could hurt the animals, they might get trapped in maybe a fishing net or eat something that kills them. When stormwater stays put it doesn’t go anywhere. After a while though, it might get larger and larger. That could make a lake or a stream. Also it can soak into the ground. That’s where we get our drinking water, it could also come from a spring. But most of the time we’d youse a filter to collect the dirt, sand, and rocks.

These are some things I learned about the stormwater journey. First, Most of rainwater goes into the ground, but sometimes it doesn’t. Then when the rainwater doesn’t get soaked into the ground it starts to form a puddle. What was the score is there it can pick up that stuff like oil then when it goes down the hill. Sadly it will eventually end up in a drain. Well that drain will probably lead to a river. If there is lime stone underneath the ground it is a self water filter they get all the bad stuff out of the water. In the circle b stormwater journey it talks about invasive plants and native plants. Native plants are supposed to be here. Invasive plants are not supposed to be here. They are usually brought by humans or by animals. That is some stuff I learned about in the circle be stormwater show.

Today I am going to tell you what happens to storm water when it does not soak into the ground. First of all when it does not soak into the ground it is called a runoff. But when were does the water go? I here you ask well it goes into a drain. But do you realize what happens to that water when it goes down the drain? Well, it goes into a many springs that have a filtration systems because it picks up a lot of dirt on its way to the drains. We eventually drink that water and you don't even know. Take Zephyrhills water for example, it takes the filtered water from those springs and bottles it. That is what I learned about water filtration.

Storm water is water that does not get soaked up. Watershed is water that stays together. You can help like pick up your dog waste and throw away your garbage etc. The waterlines have been here since the 1970s. Static water is water that is not filters so it has a gross smell. One goal is to get rid of invaded plants and keep native plants. Invasive plants can come by animals people and wind. That is what I learned.🌊💦💧

I am going to be talking about the wetlands and they put chemicals to the wetlands you have to protect by picking up litter the wetlands collect any liquid so it all lands collect to collect any liquid so it all goes in the wetlands there are some animals before there is a wetland it is dust and dry it comes from water the purpose of the water wetlands is to where are the water and it heals animals by the litter there are plants there are some that can kill other plants and animals it is good for the wetlands and earth water because there is saved in the water that it blows away to somewhere else there it can grow plants in that land are like lakes with seeds inside the water and went in When wind blows all the seeds go everywhere and they start growing other plants instead of just one spot

Stormwater is technically water that does not get washed up and to help you can pick up your dogs waste and some other stuff did you know that the waterlines have been here since 1970 and they were making a leak I’m pretty sure in the 1970s and they’re still working on it since her water isn’t filtered sometimes it gives her gross smell when is it soaking to the ground it’s called a runoff and runoff it kind of means also that it runs after a hill and it goes into a lake that’s all I really learned by bye

The first thing I learned was that storm water is rain that can’t sink into the ground. I also learned that, sadly, storm water can get polluted and can cause harm to lakes, rivers, and more body’s of water. Another thing I learned was that non-point source pollution is pollution that comes from different sources. I learned that the wetlands act like sponges for the aquifer. The wetlands are part of our drinking water, so we need to do our best friend to keep pollution from getting to the wetlands. Wetlands are also habitats for many animals. The wetlands help the aquifer as well as plants, animals, and many other things.

First, the rain falls to the ground and gets socked up into the ground but some water doesn't. Know, you might ask, "where does that water go then if it doesn't get sucked up from the ground?" Well that water goes to the near bye lakes or drains but lets talk about the drain. When rain water goes down a drain it goes to a body of water but while it goes through the drain and to the body of water it collects pollutants on the way. Pollutants are the things that get into water and pollute them like oil, chemicals, garbage, food, drinks, and more. When the polluted water goes to the body of water called a watershed witch cleans mostly all the water. an example of a water shed is the Peace River witch is Lake Gwns watershed. Another thing that can help clean water is limestone. Limestone can filter out the bad water and make clean good water that is drinkable. An example of that clean water is Zephyrhills because there water is straight from the limestone water in Florida springs but lets get back to the point. That limestone water also helps native plants witch is called biodiversity. Even though the clean water helps native plants it also helps invasive plants like Brazilian pepper.

Today I am going to tell you what storm water is. Storm water is water that does not soak into the ground. Storm water goes into nearby bodies of water. A watershed is water that stays together. Lake Gwyn is part of a watershed. Lake Gwyn was built in 2015. Lake Gwyn is a ongoing process. Storm water can help us by stopping invasive plants and pollution. Invasive plants are very harmful. And pollution can harm plants, animals, and humans that lives near a body of water. Those are some cool facts that I learned about storm water!

Stormwater is water that begins from rain. It can be stored in land, surface, in ponds, and puddles. When stormwater drops on the ground it will move until it goes to more water like a puddle. Sometimes stormwater can collect glitter, litter, and gas. When the water goes in a stormwater drain the water goes to a lake. So now you can see that stormwater is beneficial to are lakes.

This is what I learned from the video. Sidewalks and roads stop water from soaking into the grass. Stuff that gets dumped into the drains get dropped off at rivers and lakes. Pollution can cause harm to the community. Lake Quincey is a water treatment area. Parts of it are still being done but the western side is done but the eastern side is not. Some animals like to come Andy go . And some animals even migrate here. And that is what I learned.🌊💧💦

So storm water is rain water that doesn’t go into the ground. Some evaporates and some flushes into the sewers and later poured out into the ocean. It adds only some pollution because it picks up pollution from the ground when it goes. It can add chemicals and some other things to the ocean if it floods out humans try to help by blocking storm water with dams and even more.

To start off storm water is water that comes from the storm. And stormwater is sometimes not that good for the earth and here’s why. Storm waters fall from the sky and go onto a factor in factories may have pollution on it and then the water takes the pollution with it down a hill or into river. Some lakes that has stormwater brings down pollution and other horrible stuff into the water some lakes clean the water and reuse the water. A mosh helps filter the water to also helps the animals find food and a good place to rest. The wetland also help filter the water just like a mosh.

Here are some things I learned about the stormwater process. Storm water is water that is left over by storms but doesn’t get washed into the ground. This water runs into stormwater drains. If it collects pollution on the way to the drain, once the stormwater runs into a lake, river, or nearby pond, it pollutes the water source. This could be very harmful to plants and/or animals that live in it. Stormwater could also be helpful! It could prevent pollution and invasive plants. Invasive plants are plants that are not native to it's area. That is what I learned about the stormwater process.

Today we’re learning about storm water. Well first, storm water is water that does not get soaked up in the ground. On the video they said there goal was habitats for animals. A long time ago Florida was not a water land 😮😮. Water runs through the gusher, then water 💧 goes in “ocean” water. Earth moved for the wet land. Pollution has two types of pollution. Wet lands would equal or can be a sponge for water. A waterway equals water still going down until it goes into “ocean” water. There’s so much to learn about storm water

Okay, so the thing that we will be talking about today is what storm water does to the Ecosystems. It really isn’t the waters fault, it’s ours. We are the ones that are littering and throwing trash were ever. When we litter, the water picks it up and carries it into the lakes and ponds and the water gets polluted and isn’t clean to drink. Now that the bad part is out of the way, there are good people that clean up the other peoples trash and clean the environment. There is also a natural way that the Earth uses to clean and filter water, it is the limestone it has little holes that the water can squeeze through and that is how water is filtered naturally.

I learned stormwater is water that starts of as rain the soaks in the ground and travels to the nearest river then leads to a pond like lake Gwen. When the water travels to a near by river/pond poltion. Poltion is bad for interment. Now you know all about stormwater. 🌧💧💦🌊

Storm water is water that doesn’t soak in the ground ( which is called a run off) so it goes to a drain, ponds, lakes and even sometimes ocean. But it can get paladin by littering, putting soap or other things that fish can eat and DIE!. Which makes the water all brown and gooey. Polluted means that there is to much nutrients in the water so the plants take up the nutrients and then can’t hold so much so it doesn’t get it all. This can make waters like springs, oceans, lakes, ponds that you might get water out of very dirty and not healthy. But there are stops to this there like sponges (I forgot what they were called because I lost my paper) that soak up the bad water and filter it to good water. So you can help clean waters by not littering and throwing stuff on the ground.

To start of with, storm water comes down of the Clouds and when it falls it collects pollution car oil, Weed killer, and Factory oil and when’s it collects that stuff it goes to a river or storm drains. Pollution can harm plant and animals in a lake or river. Animals homes in a lakes or rivers are the plants there if pollution comes or invasive plants that can kill the fish and plants.

Today im going to teach you about storm water. Storm water is cool because it doesn’t soak in the ground. A way that it can soak in the ground is a drain or streams and it can pollution the water. In the video it seed their goal was habitats for animals. Lake Gwyn was built in 2015. A waterway equals water still going down until it goes into ocean water. The water goes into a factory. That is what I learned about the video.

Stormwater is water from storms. Stormwater goes into the ground or it goes into drains. When stormwater goes into the drains it ends up in a place where the stormwater is naturally cleaned. For example Lake Gwen is a place were stormwater goes. After the stormwater is cleaned it is sent somewhere else such is a river or a lake.

Storm water is from storms. It can pollute in water and that can harm wet lands and can cause harm. Storm water is effective just like washing your car on the drive way and goes in to the storm drain and can end up in a wet land and will pollut and will start to hurt the wet land and the Native plants. And to help your community with out wet lands being harmed you should pick up litter and waste. That’s how we can help keep them safe and not harm them and keep the community safe and help storm water from getting polluted.
