Well to start off, hammocks do not have that much water and tons of trees. Marsh’s have lots of water, and barely any trees. Because of this fish, alligators, snakes and turtles live in marsh’s and birds, hogs, and lizards live in Oak Hammocks. Oak hammocks have hags that destroy the place marshes alligators. Great blue herons live in marsh’s and owls live in oak hammocks. Marsh’s are prairies, so there a big long area without trees. A marsh would be a flooded prairie. Hammocks are small areas in forests. There places with gigantic oak trees covering the sky from below. Marsh’s and Oak Hammocks are much different.

Owls lives in a oak hammock. Hammock is a small area with trees like a forest. A marsh is a huge land with water and grass. Alligators fish turtles snakes hogs birds are in a hammock. And their is a lot of animals in a oak hammock and a marsh. That is what I learned from the video.

To start off, let me tell you what are marshes and hammocks. A hammock doesn’t have one tree it has millions of trees. And they’re not just spread out they’re all combined together. Making the ground very shaded and soil can be formed into a ball it’s very solid and keep it shape. There’s this one plant that if it doesn’t get water in the form up and looks like it’s dead but it’s not as soon as it gets water it becomes very green. The feral hog is invasive addictive all the native plants. And if you don’t know what invasive or native means invasive means what an animal or plant is not good for the environment. And native means good for the plants or the environment. A native animal to the Hamic is a box turtle the box turtle can hide fully in its Shell. Marsh’sAre not like a swamp swamp have many trees and it’s a flooded tourist but a marsh is a flooded field. How do animals use counter shading like an alligator. Now you know what a hammock in the marshes let’s see what is different about them.To start off a marsh is very wet and doesn’t have a latta trees but a hammock is dry and it has tons and tons of trees. The second difference is that a Hamic have a box turtle well the marsh has a alligator.

A hammock is a large forest. A hammock consists of one trees, Sable Palm, Spanish Needle, and more plants. There is a creature in an Oak hammock that is called the Feral Hog which is an invasive species that digs up the native plants and spreads the invasive plants.

Ok I’m going to be talking about a Hammock and marshes. First, I’m going to talk about a hammock. Hammocks have live oak trees, upland soil, and seasonal flooding. Hammocks are a small area of Oak tree’s. Stable palms are also in hammocks. There are invasive and native animals and plants in hammocks. For example, a feral hog is a invasive hog that came from Europe. It is sad that feral hogs dig up native plants almost everywhere they go. A marsh is a type of wetland. There aren’t many trees in marshes then hammocks. Alligators Live in marshes. lots of animals like to breed in marshes. Alligator flag is a plant that lives in marshes. Those are some things that I learned about hammocks and marshes.

I am going to tell you all about marshes and oak hammocks. To start of I’m going to tell you about marshes first. Marshes are often flooded and are very open. Marshes don’t have many trees. In a marsh you would find Alligators and Water mocasons. Now I’m going to name one of the plants that you would find in a marsh alligator flag. Now I am going to tell you a little bit about Oak hammock’s. In A Oak hammock you would find lots of trees and barn owls sleeping in the trees but they would be hard to see because they counter shade. Counter shading is basically camouflage but with a fancy name. In A Oak hammock you would find Cesar weed and that is a plant that is invasive. One animal that is really good at spreading Cesar Weed is a feral hog and a feral hog is also invasive. Feral hogs may look cute and cuddly but they actually do a bunch of damage. Now you know all about Oak hammock’s and marshes.

The difference between the Hammock and the Marsh are simple like that the Hammock has lots of trees and the Marsh doesn't have a lot of trees or that a Hammock is not flooded wetlands but a Marsh is. Next, the animals that live in the Hammock like a feral hog can hide in the tall grass while an animal like the alligator can hide under Alligator flag. Last, Marshes can help clean water but a Hammock can't.

Today I am going to tell you the difference between a marsh and a hammock. Well the first deference is trees. A marsh does not have very many trees and a hammock has lots of oak trees. The next difference is water. A marsh has lots of water and hammock does not have as much. Ok now I am going to talk to you about how they are alike. The first thing that is alike is birds. They both have birds you would think since marshes barely have any trees no birds would live there right? WRONG! Marshes have birds like the great blue herons that eat baby alligators. Hammocks have barn owls as their birds. The second thing that is alike is that animals camouflage. In a marsh, the animal that camos is an alligator. It's light on the bottom and dark on the top. The animal that camos in a hammock is a barn owl. It is brown so it camos with the trees. That is what I learned about hammocks and marshes.

I’m going to be talking about a Marsh and Hammock habitat. A Hammock habitat s like an evergreen forest , it is very shady and cool. The soil has matter that soaks stuff up. There lives live Oak trees , they provide food such as acorns. Their leaves are very waxy. The tree has something called resurrection leaves, that is when the leaves aren’t dry. When they are dry that is called desecaution . Spanish needle is another plant they have. Sable Pom is the state tree, you can tell by looking at the leaves. Sable Pom is not a tree infact it’s apart of the grass family.

To start of with, a hammock is a place with no water but just a little bit of water. The animals at a hammock are feral hog that is invasive, box turtles, many more. Next the plants there are the stable palm, Spanish needles, wild coffee, and sever weeds. Then the invasive plants and the native plants. some plants like the Spanish moss is a native plant same like the stable palm some invasive plants are sever weed and Spanish needles. Lastly invasive animals and native animals. some of the native animals are the barn owl, and the box turtle, and some of the invasive animals of the feral hog. Also we'll be talking about marsh. What is a mash a marsh is a place the no tree but lots of water that goes down to a lake. To Begin, the marsh we'll be talking about is banana creek goes to lake Hancock. The animals in a marsh are the great blue Herron, muck turtle, dragonfly, alligator, and many more. Then the plants water lettuce, and alligator flag. Lastly alligators have counter shading that helps them camouflage in the water.

Hammocks are different than marshes in many different ways. Here are some of the ways. First of all hammocks are different types of forests like an oak forest. Marshes are not forests. They are flooded grasslands. Another way you can tell they are different are the plants and animals. Hammocks have box turtles and armadillos. There is one more animal and that animal is invasive. It is a feral hog. Feral hogs are very invasive because they came from somewhere very far away. They also cause lots of damage. The plants in hammocks are sable palms and ceasor weed. the ceasor weed seeds can also stick to clothes. Marshes have water moccasins and and anhingas. Anhingas are birds. Sometimes they dry their wings so they can dive down and get some fish. Water moccasins can swim across marshes so they can move around quickly. The plant that is invasive is water lettuce. Another plant there is the alligator flag. Its leaves are HUGE. Hammocks also have some animals that use camouflage. Marshes have some that can too. Another word for camouflage is counter shading. Finally, hammocks have lots of organic matter. That is what I learned about marshes and hammocks.

Hammocks are well developed forest. Hammock do not have fires very often. Oak trees grow in hammocks. Oak trees grow acorns. Resurrection ferns grow on oak trees. Resurrection ferns can curl up and look dead when they are really alive. Spanish needles have seeds that stick on your shirt. Sable palms grow in hammocks. Sable palms are not trees at all. Sable palms can have boot jacks. Boot jacks is a place where palm frond grew but then fell off. Barred owls have camouflage to blend in with trees. Box turtles are also found in a hammock.

Today we’re learning about the oak hammock (not like something you lay on) and Marsh. Hammock: the Oak hammock is a well developed forest, the oak tree (the most famous tree here) makes a habitat and food for animals, also it’s what the hammock is made of, some animals in the oak hammock are, a feral hog, bard owl, box turtle, and so many more. Plants in the oak hammock are, sever weed, Spanish moss and needle, wild coffee, and so much more. A few facts about them are, Spanish needle have 2 tiny teeth that could. Rest on paper.

First I’m going to talk about Hammocks. A Hammock is a well developed forest. Hammocks do not really have fires or flooding. Oak trees reproduce food for animals. Oak trees are very large. Sable palm is the Florida state plant. A Feral hog is really good at spreading Cesar weed. Feral hogs are invasive. Another animal that could be found at a hammock is a box turtle, and bared owls 🦉. A lot of the times animals can hide in tall grasses, so you can’t see them. In the insides of a turtle shell you can see the turtles spine because, their shell is apart of them. Now let’s move on to marshes! A marsh is a type of wetland. A marsh has very few trees 🌲, on the other hand a swamp has a lot more trees. Wetlands have been compared to rainforest. What gets carried up stream gets carried down stream. There are lots of plants in marshes, there are lots of dragon flys because that’s where they lay their eggs. A Marco-invertebrate is something that doesn’t have a spine. At marshes you could have lots of fun, like maybe go hiking. Alligator flag is a plant, it has flowers, it can be yummy snacks for different animals. Alligator flag provides baby alligators. An alligators jaw is massive!. Alligators are top predator because they have strong jaws and scaly skin that protects them. You will often see anhingas on tree stumps so they can dry off their wings. You can find all sorts of fish, otters, birds, and even alligators at marshes. The lighter belly of an alligator the harder it will get to spot one! That is what I have learned about Hammocks and Marshes,!!!

Hear are some things you should know about Hammocks and Marshes. Hammock is a nature reserve to help protect the wildlife. One of the trees in a hammock is an Oak tree. Oak trees are really big so they can provide food and shelter for animals like squirrels. Also Butterfly Orchids which are plants that sticks to Oak trees. Bard owls are animals that you can find in a hammock. Bard Owls can camouflage themselves in Oak trees. When you walk around a hammock you can find Spanish Needles that look like they have two tiny teeth on the top of their seed.
