It changes shapes because of the sun.The sun faces the moon and that shows more parts of the moon. The moon is shaded by the sun. That only happens when the sun or moon are facing each other.

The moon doesn’t Chang ever shape at all. The moon doesn’t emit ( give off) light . As the moon orbits earth, the sun lights up different parts of it, making it seem as if the moon is changing shape. The moon is earths only natural satellite. It takes 27.3 days to make a complete orbit around earth, but because the earth is moving around the sun at the same time it takes the moon 29.5 days to go through its eight different phases - a lunar month. If the moon is fully turned towards the sun it’s a full moon.

Today we’re going to learn why does the moon change its shape each night. Well the thing is it doesn’t change shape. The moon doesn’t emit (give off) light. The moon light we see is actually the sun reflected off the lunar surface. So as the moon orbits earth, the sun lights up different places of it, making it seem the earth change shapes. The moon is earths only natural satellite. It takes the moon 27.3 days to make a complete orbit around earth. But since the earth is moving around the sun the exact same time, it takes the moon 29.5 days to go in its eight different phases.- a lunar month.

The sun is shining it in different directions about every night And as were rotating around the sun the sun is rotating around now so that’s another reason why it has different shapes No the reason why is because every 29. Five days the sun has a full moon so that’s another reason why

This is why the moon looks like a change shape each night. Well the moon is it actually change shapes it’s just change phases. It also doesn’t give off light. I know what you’re thinking well then why is it so bright in the night sky because it takes the sun and uses its light. Just like the earth rotates around the sun the moon rotates around the earth. And just like I said the moon does not get off the site and touch the moon is turning or rotating the sun only hits a little bit of the moon. This is why the moon has phases. Did you know that he earth only takes 27.3 days to go around the sun. And also the moon takes 29.5 days to go around the earth. When the moon takes its 29.5 days the moon goes through eight different phases-lunar moon. There’s so much to learn about the moon .

The moon “changes shape” because of the way the sun reflects light on it. To start off, the moon takes 24 hours to completely orbit around the earth. And when it does this, the sun almost “projects” onto the moon.

The moon does not give off light itself, the ‘moonlight’ we see is actually the suns reflection of the lunar surface. As the moon orbits the earth the sun The sun lights up different parts of it, making it seem as if the moon is changing shape. The moon is earths only natural satellite. It takes the moon to 27.3 days to complete orbit around the earth but because earth is moving around the sun the same time it takes the moon to 29.5 days to go through it’s a different phrases. When the moon appears to be getting bigger, it’s waxing and when it looks like it’s getting smaller it’s waning. Once the phase of the moon is fully turn towards the sun it’s a full moon and we see it all. But, as the moon moves around earth, face the pointing towards us gradually becomes hidden from the sun until we can hardly see it at all.

I am going to be talking about moon 🌙 phases. There is 7 moon phases. The moon is all types of phases because I matters about what time I pit is for it to be a phase. The moon is always some how a Cigna colder yellowish oranges because of the time and place and it is actually because it is sunset and another thing the moon orbits around the earth did changes shape because of phases phases can faces are like something that changes the shape of it it could be full moon half moon who knows… So that is what I learned about moon phases and there’s a lot of things that you can learn about moon phases moon it’s self or Faces it self

The light we see from the moon is actually the Sun’s light reflecting off of the moon. So when the moon orbits the earth, it makes us see the different phases of the moon. In the text I learned “The moon is earth’s only natural satellite.” It takes the moon around 27 days to make its full orbit around earth. But the earth is orbiting, so it takes the moon around 29 days to get through its eight phases.

The Moon actually doesn't change shape at all. What's happening is that the sun is shining it's light on the Moon and that makes seem like the Moon is changing shape. Another think is that it takes 27.3 days for the Moon to travel around the earth so that means the Moon takes 29.5 days to go around the sun called a lunar month.

The does not produce its own light. The suns light hits the moons surface every day but on different spots. If the earth wasn’t spinning around the sun, it would take the moon 27.3 days but it takes it 29.5 days. And when the moon appears to be getting bigger which is called waxing, and when it is getting smaller that’s called waning.🌘🌗🌖🌕🌒🌓🌔🌤

The moon does not actually not change shape, it is our view of it that changes. The moon does not actually glow or give off light, the light we see is actually the sun reflecting off the moon. As the moon rotates around the earth the sun lights up different parts of it which makes it look that the moon is changing shapes.

I learned the moon does not really change shapes it’s just how the sun reflects off of the moon to make is shape. Now I’ll tell you about “the phases of da moon.” New moon, Waxing crescent moon, First quarter moon, Waxing gibbous moon, Full moon, Waning gibbous moon, Last quarter moon, Waning crescent moon “thos are da phases of da moon.” When the moon seems to be getting bigger it’s waxing when the moon is getting smaller it’s waning. Now you know all about the moon.

The light we see from the moon is actually sunlight reflecting from the moon's surface. So, when the moon orbits earth it makes the moon phases. Did you know that the moon is the earth's only natural satellite? Also it should take the moon 27 days to make a full orbit around earth but it takes it 29 day because the earth orbits around the sun. It changes because of waning and waning as it move toward and away from the earth.

The moon doesn’t glow the sun puts light on it. Also the moon doesn’t change at all it just is how we see it so it looks like a different shape. It’s also a satellite for earth and it has different phases.

Did you no The moon changes shapes. The moon sometimes change every day sometimes it stays for a week or two. The moon changes because the sun. When moon obits around earth the sun makes the moon light in different spots. It takes 27.3 for the moon to orbit around the sun. Actually When the earth move around the sun at the same time it is 29.5 days to go through eight phases. That is what I learned about the moon.

People Think the moon glows by it self but the sun ☀️ is behind the moon that is how the moon glows at night.tThe sun is shining in different directions every day the moon doesn’t change ever shape at all. The sun reflects and that is how the moon changes as the moon orbits the earth The sun lights up different parts of it.

The moon does not give off its own light. It is actually the sun reflecting.Plus the moon dose not change its shape it’s just the sun moving or not shining on one part of the moon.It takes 27.3 days for the moon to go around the Earth. Also when then the moon gets bigger it is called waxing and when it is smaller it is called waning. It has 8 phases. That is what I learned.

Well, the moon doesn’t actually change shape it is just reflecting off the suns light. That’s why it’s smaller at times and bigger at the other. It’s at different points around earth. Those are called moon phases when it gets bigger it’s waning, when it gets smaller it’s waxing. There is also new moons at the end of a luner month and full moons at the end.

The start off with, the moon have eight different phases there like the circle of life. First it’s the new moon then the waxing crescent moon next the first quarter moon then the waxing gibbous moon finally is the full moon and repeats the cycle again. The reason why the moon change’s each night but not ever night is the sun is giving the moon it’s light and we call it the moon light that’s why change’s shape.

The moon has phases cause the moon rotates then the sun reflects on where the moon is at a spot and makes a phase. Some of the phases are full moon, first quarter, third quarter, and new moon.

The moon changes shape because of its face. When the moons face faces the sun it becomes a full moon and when it's away from the sun it becomes a new moon. The moon actually doesn't change its shape. It's just the suns light. The sun can't light it up if it's behind the earth because the earth is blocking it. That is what I learned about the moons phases. :)

The moon doesn’t actually change shape. It is just that when the moon orbits earth, the sun reflects off of the moon making it look like its changes shape. In reality it is just our view that makes us think that it changes shape. When it changes shape it is called a moon phase. There are nine different phases. The phases(in order) are new moon, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full moon, waning gibbous, third quarter, waning crescent, and new moon again. To go through all phases it takes 29.5 days. That means there is only one full moon per month. Unless you have a full moon on the first day of the month then you’ll have one on the 30th day of the month. This happened in October(2020). That’s what really happens.🌑🌘🌗🌖🌕🌔🌓🌒🌑

First off, how and why the moon changes will be revealed. So, the thing is, that the moon does not change shape at all. It’s actually the way the Earth is looking at it. Since the Earth spins, it changes the angle of the things that we look In space. (that includes the moon) So, there are of course different fazes of the moon. The fazes are: New moon, waxing crescent moon, First quarter moon and waxing gibbons moon, Full moon, Waning gibbous moon, Last quarter moon and waning crescent moon.

In order to know why the moon changes its shape, you need to know one another thing. That thing is, the moon does not make its own light. The moon reflects the sun’s light. While the moon goes around the earth. That makes the sun’s light shine on different spots on the moon. That’s why some nights the moon is full and other nights the moon is not lit up at all.

The moon doesn’t change shape. it has lots of “phases” including: new moon, full moon, waxing gibbous, and more. The moon goes through a couple of phases and only shows because the sun reflects on it. The mon acts as a satellite to earth. And it can cause a solar eclipse if it blocks the sun.
