First,Habitats are places or homes of animals, insects, amphibians, reptiles and and things like that.People step on and hills on purpose sometimes for no good reason that’s like if some giant was walking around and stepped onto your house but habitats are very important for animals because if they did not have a habitat they would DIE.These are some things I learned from the virtual field trip.

One thing I learned is that the blue crab lives in a Hamick and that it would die on the beach because it is visible to birds.seconed thing I learned is that the hoghst crab can live on the sand but not the hammock because the are also visible to predators and on the beach it can camouflage because the crab looks like the sand.

I learned from the virtual field trip that the habitats are all unique. like the hammock is dry, some parts of the beach are dry some and are wet, lastly estuaries are wet. I also learned that there is something called brackish water, which is salt and freshwater mixed together. You can find it in estuaries. Another thing I learned is that estuaries are where saltwater and freshwater water fish have their babies. That is what I learned my virtual field trip.

A habitat is a home to amphibians, reptiles, mammals, birds, insects, and fish. Some of the animals that I learned about were the red bellied woodpecker, the blue land crab, and the ghost crab. The red bellied woodpecker usually is in the hammock the ghost crab lives on the beach. And the blue crab lives in the hammock also. Habitats can be giant like a ocean or they can be tiny like a spider web. That is what I learned about habitats.

I learned that a habitat is a place where animals live. And you should always watch where you’re stepping in nature you never know if I ant or anything else could live there. I learned that there is special tool to measure wind speed the temperature and even the moisture in the dirt. There’s also a tool that you can use to see what is inside the soil. I also learned that plants on the beach instead of having thinner leaves they have thick and waxy feeling. There’s many different animals in different places well I mean habitats you should always keep an eye on what you see.

What I learned from the virtual field trip is that a habitat = a home. What I mean by this is your home is your habitat. Just like a manatee’s home/habitat is the McArthur Beach. But sadly some rude people step on an ant hills or a log with wildlife inside and that could hurt or even kill the wildlife inside. And the blue crab ( I forgot the name) lives in the maritime hammock and if it tried to live on the beach the bright blue crab could get found by a Predator.

I learned that many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, different species of animals and plants live in different habitats. Here are a few different examples of habitats; the hammock, beach, marsh, and one out of the blue, the jungle! (That was random even though it is a habitat) I also learned that on Florida’s beaches, the plants living there have waxy leaves and stems because of the heat. That is most of what I learned from our virtual forest Friday.

The first thing I want to talk about animal and plants adaptations. The first habitat is the beach. The first animal is the ghost crab. Their shell is tan and looks just like the sand. Since the crabs shell looks like the sand it blends in and can barely be seen. This helps the crab stay safe. Next is a plant,(I’m not positive what it is called, but I think it’s called a dune bun.)it has thick and waxy leaves to deal with the heat. The last thing I will mention is the mangrove tree. If you have been out on a boat you have probably seen them. The roots grow into the water and that water is called a estuary.

I learned that a habitats is where a animals or humans live, eat and live there. I’m going to you what I learned on my virtual field trip. First, you should always. Watch where you’re walking, you should also always go on path so you don’t step on any nature or animals. In beaches, even though it’s not like a forest or a tunnel or something a animal might live in. I’ll beach can still be a habitat for animals. Here are some animals on the beach, ghost crabs and other crabs, some of the crabs habitat are tunnels, or maybe a lump of sand, there’s also fish that have habitats in the beach. The beach on regular not wet sand, it doesn’t have the moist or soil thing to it (according to a device), but when you get to the wet part of the sand it is. She showed us devices for example one tells the wind temperature and one tells how moist the soil or sand is. Plants on the beach are weird but cool. There thick and have a moist feeling. I learned a lot on my virtual field trip.

What I learned about the beach is the there is a type of crab that lives there it is called the Ghost Crab. The ghost crab can blend into its habitat, because of their tanish color. The ghost crab cannot live in water because of their color it can easily be spotted by a predator like a shark, or any animal that might eat it. Also what I learned about is the forest is there is another species of crab, that is the blue crab. It likes to dig holes that are called burrows.🦀🦀🦀

Here are something’s I learned from the virtual forest Friday on Friday. One thing I learned Is that there is something called brackish water which is basically salt water and fresh water mixed together. At Mcaurther beach there are three habitats beach estuary and hammock. The estuary has a bunch of tiny fish and plants. The hammock has animals trees. One of the animals is a ghost crab. On the beach there are plants animals and a lot of water. You may be wondering why doesn’t the host crab live on the beach well it would not camouflage (cam-a-fla-ge).i hope that you learned as much as I did.

One thing I learned is that plants on the beach have the adaptation of thick and waxy stems for the beach. Another thing I learned is an animal and that's the Blue Land Crab because I never knew it existed. Next, I learned that the Hammock is home to lots of many reptiles, birds, mammals and more. Finally, I learned that ghost crabs can only live on the beach and not the Hammock because it wouldn't have any camouflage.

I’m going to tell you about what I learned from the video. To start off with I’m going to tell you about the habitat. So first a habitat is a place where all animals live and humans if you didn’t have a habitat or a place to live then you might be homeless or could die. This is why it is important to have a place to live.

If you didn’t have a home you could be homeless or die including animals and humans. It is important to live in a home. Now that is what I learned about.

Habits and habitats: Habits are places where animals live some examples include: Hammock, marsh, arctic, ocean and more! (Hence the word some.) Hammock habitats are large areas with lot’s and lots and lots of trees. Marsh habitats are areas with mostly water. And finally Arctic and the Arctic is well known so I will not explain it. Habits: habits are what animals do for a living. Like doing their part in the food chain. We are animals so we do the food chain and we have jobs like police officers and fire fighters.

Here is what I learned about McArthur beach. I learned that there are lots of animals, plants, and habitats. In the Maritime hammock there’s not very much wind. But there is a spider that lives there and that spider is called a golden orb weaver also known as the banana spider. It get the name, “banana spider” because of it has the shape of a banana. In the beach there is one animal that I know of that lives there and that animal is also a spider. That spider is called the ghost spider. The reason why it is called the ghost spider is because it blends in with the sand and it doesn’t even look like it’s there. An estuary is a place with two types of water. Those two types of water are salt water and fresh water. That is what I learned about McArthur beach.

Next, the animals that live there the blue crab, minnows, and the ghost crab. Then, I Learned that Mcaruthur is a protected place and if anything that gets in there that’s not so post to be there all of the place maybe be destroyed. Last, that’s all I Learned about McArthur Beach.

Habitats are places were animals live and sometimes lay there eggs there. I will be talking about hammocks, beaches and brackish waters and three tools that she used. Hammocks are habitats that are covered with trees one animal that lives there is a blue land crab that usually hides because he’s blue and doesn’t have much Camouflage. The beach is also a habitat with lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of sand that makes a lot of erosion because of the sand. The beach also has a crab named the gost crab because it’s like a gost because of its camouflage. Brackish water is water that is salt water and fresh water mixed together which means that fresh water plants and animals and salt water plants and animals could both there. There are three tools that she used one is the soil temperature which sees what the temperature of the soil is. Two is the soil moisture which sees what the moisture of the soil is. Three is the anomoter that tells the wind speed and what temperature it is. That is what I learned on the Virtual school field trip.❤️🦋🐺🐴🦄💧🧊❄️🌌👋

There are three habitats in McArthur state park those are the estuary the mangrove hammock and the beach. The estuary is made of brackish water which is salt and fresh water. The animals that live there includes manatee, coral and sea turtles. Mangrove trees also live there. There are three types of mangrove trees. The three types are red, black and white. Mangrove trees live on the waters edge and there roots are visible. The second habitat is the mangrove hammock this is also has mangroves but there are more plants such as wild coffee. You do not get coffee beans from wild coffee though. An animal that lives there is the blue crab. They are very shy so in order to see them you have to be quite. The final habitat is the beach this has a plant that grows in long chains and have waxy leaves. An animal that lives in the beach is the ghost crab which is light yellow so it can blend in with the sand. They also are very quick.

According to the video I learned that a habitat is the natural home or environment of a plant and animal. There are two types of crabs that live along the Florida beaches. One of them is the ghost crab. The ghost crab lives along the beaches because the color of the crab it tan so it can blend in the sand so predators want really see them. The second crab is the blue crab. The blue crab lives in a hammock. The hammock allows the blue crab to blend in the habitat and predators can’t really see them just like the ghost crab. As you can see the Florida beaches provide a good habitat for animals.

At the MacArthur place there’s this animal called the blue crab. The blue crab live in the hammock and not in the beach you might be wondering why don’t they live in the Beach it’s because they’re there like a light blue and I can easily be seen by a predator so that’s why they live in the hammocks They count hid under a tree so a predator doesn’t see them .There used to be an island at MacArthur Beach but there was eventually a road leading to it it was no longer an island. Miss Charlotte even said she lived near on that island.

Last Friday, we watched a video about McArthur State Park. One of the habitats there is a Hammock habitat. A Hammock is a forest of trees that provide a lot of shade. The main trees that make up the hammock Habitat at McArthur State Park are mangrove trees. An animal that lives there is a blue crab. The blue crab is rarely seen in the daytime, It is mostly active at night and lives in a burrow. Another habitat at McArthur state park is the beach. The beach has beach grass that grows on the dunes. It has a waxy coat and thin leaves. The beach grass is a lot like a cactus, It’s waxy coat helps keep in moisture. An animal that lives on the beach is the ghost crab. You will most likely walk by a ghost crab because they are camouflage is the same color as the sand.

Habitats are homes for animals to live in animals have to live in different places to survive in the wild and their place they are adapted to the place for a example the ghost crab it lives on a beach the beach is yellow and the crab is yellow to. People think the blue crab should live on a beach but it lives in a hammock that is it’s habitat the Mcaruthur is protected area if something bad happens it would be destroyed. Some habitats are hammocks marsh arctic and the ocean that is all by.

The ghost crab is one of the crabs that lives on the beach. It could not live in the water cause it would not survive. The beach habitat has the sand crab that you may not see because it is the same color as the sand. The wind there is not that windy at the beach.

McArther beach has lots of wildlife, like ghost crabs, blue crabs, banana spider, golden orb weaver and menos. In the middle on the island of McArther beach was a oak hammock and on the edges of the beach is just a bunch of beaches. Ghost crabs have camouflage and most of the time you can’t see them that’s why there called the ghost crab. The ghost crab is a tanish brown color. Almost all crabs live on the beach but the blue crab is a huge one that likes to live in oak hammocks. In the islands there are a lot of beaches, and in those beaches lives menos. Menos can live in small lakes rivers and beaches like McArther beach. Spiders are also very common in McArther Beach. A spider call the banana spider lives there.
